somthinrandm
Ok so i looked at the other topics before i posted this and didn't find a answer. I'm in process of considering replacing my original old carpet in my 77 280z and eBay sells 1 or 2 piece molded carpet made to directly fit my cars floor pans, and they also have multi-piece regular carpet. which is what the car already has. has anyone had experience with the molded carpet idea. Im a little skeptical, and was wondering if i should go Molded or multi piece. Thanks for your thoughts.
RB26powered74zcar
I would not trust a molded kit from ebay, unless it's from MotorSport Auto (MSA). I've included the link to my carpet thread here> CLICK Good luck!
hoov100
Why would you want carpet in a car? j/K, I seriously wouldn't trust a generic no name company for a molded carpet kit, but you do get lucky occasionally.

Your carpet came out really nice and I agree i don't think im going to trust the molded kit. i also like the gray idea. it didn't even dawn on me how much dirt would show up! great idea ill take a look at the other colors! somthinrandm
Another question, Is there a kit i can buy that doesn't sell the rear trunk carpet. That is in great shape. its just the old carpet in the front is what i am worried about. perhaps i could save money that way too.
wagon jon
Even though ebay is cheaper, in some cases, a kit from a reputable dealer would be your best bang for your buck.
