fordsun Posted October 15, 2010 Share Posted October 15, 2010 hi guys,my l28 dies bad at take off,i cheeked,plugs,pump jet,timming,but nothing.always had a little spot with the high compression,but with the lower compression for the turbo it is insane.once you limp up to 2000rpms it runs fine,just dont stop,here is a picture of my set up.by the way it does it with or without the turbo.the cab is a 390 holly.any advice will be helpful.thanks. I have not seen that engine bay before...... edit: Actually I did have a thought you didn't mention the fuel filter or pressure that could pose a problem at lower RPM.
