mxgsfmdpx
Just curious on how many members here have had their LS1's rebuilt and what it cost them for a short block build. Also I am looking for a Bay Area shop that specializes in LSx motors. I have had a few responses on ls1tech regarding Bay Area machine shops that are knowledgeable with building the LS1. Here is a list of a couple places that were mentioned... .Dave's Machine in Fremont .California Street Machines in Fairfield .Synergy Motorsports in Fremont (apparently Dave's Machine does their short block builds for them, they install long blocks and do dyno tuning.) If anybody else has some information that would be great. Also willing to travel the distance for a quality builder. Thanks!

mxgsfmdpx
Okay. I go down that way at least 3 times a year. Will be down there in February for an agriculture trade show in Tulare (another 45 min or so South to Bakersfield I think) Will be in touch!
