Looks very clean, hard to tell from far away pics though. Also, hard to tell if there truly is "no rust" when they recently covered up all the metal with new paint. Looks like a clean Z though, and if it checks out up on the lift I think it is very well priced. Here in California if you find a rust free, clean, running Z in that shape you're going to pay closer to 10K. Just the market for them here right now.

I think on page 2 of this thread he mentioned they are regular blue and that he thought cobalt blue would be too dark. But double check...

I love them as well, and I cleaned them for the first time yesterday... Took a little while lol. According to the company I got them from locally this was the last set they could get from Rota. Didn't ask why, was just happy to get them. I wish they would make them in a 16, they only make them in 15 and 17 and I think 17's are too big for our cars (many disagree, I know). A 16x8 with 225-45-16's would have been perfect but my setup still looks nice. Once I get my built motor and AZC Track Pack (in like who knows how many years) I'll get actual CCW classics and have them custom made to what I want in 16's. But for now, these look great! Stupid building a house getting in the way of my car projects

What do you reccomend for an aftermarket cam? Not a race car obviously, but if a certain (hopefully somewhat mild) grind is going to get me more power in the higher RPMs I would be very happy to make a purchase

It's funny as I've gotten older I've learned that somebody is going to hate on whatever it is you drive. When I drive our 2006 3500HD Duramax Dually for towing my wifes horses around I get the comments from the hippies in their Hybrids. When I drive our 96 2 Door Tahoe with 315,000 miles on it I get comments about why I haven't sent it to the junk yard. When I drive our 2004 Civic that gets 39 MPG and I can absolutely run into the ground and it keeps on going I get called a "ricer". When I take the Z out it's mostly very nice comments but of course you get the occasional hater... What have I learned...??? Who gives a rip about what other people think lol. All of my cars serve their purpose in their own way and I love them all for it. Aint nobody got time for haters, lol

Datsun straight six gurus, I have a question... I have an L28 and 5 speed swap in my 71 240Z. The car pulls hard and smooth but seems to peak at around 5,000 RPMs. Anyone experience anything like this? Stock motor and dual SUs. I remember my L24 and 4 speed pulling hard all the way through 6500 RPMs. Thoughts? Thank you!

Most likely not. Plenty of room all around, will need to roll the fenders though most likely. Not trying to slam it anyway just give the car a better ride and lose some wheel gap

Got my 15x8 0 offset Rota wheels installed today. The 225-50-15 Pirelli P Zeros fit perfectly on the factory suspension and brakes no rubbing at all! Very happy with this set up! Up next, coilovers and fender rolling to kill that super strong wheel gap.
