Ejkej
Hi Guys, I need your help. I want to replace clutch on my '76 280Z (it has a stock 4-speed transmission). Unfortunately I have a problem with finding a 225mm clutch here in Poland - 240mm sets however are available. I found some topics where people speak about replacing their 225mm clutches with 240mm, but I did not find the info what needs to be replaced in order to fit it. Will it bolt on?? Thanks for help! cockerstar
You need a 240mm flywheel to match your 240mm clutch set. Aftermarket light options are out there, or you can use a stock one from a turbo car or a 2+2. Another option would be to order a 225mm clutch set off of the internet. Ejkej
OK, one more question: I found out that some eBay sellers offer clutch sets which should fit 200SX, 280ZX and 280Z. Searching this path I have found - in Poland - a clutch for 200SX (S13), which is 225mm in diameter... I know this might be a stupid question - but does anyone know if this could be what I am looking for? Thanks Edited December 13, 2010 by Ejkej
Pyro
check out nipponpower.com SPEC clutches work well. Get a stage 1 or 2, Avoid the stage 3 or greater as they are hard to drive on the street (fast engagement, on or off and nothing in between)

Pyro
Well, according to www.nipponpower.com the clutch part number for the 280z and 240zx is the same (spcsn541). Maybe that will help.
