MyRolla Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 Hey guys i'm swapping a SR20 into an S30 240z so you know the deal it's carbed and what not but since i'm a newb i wanted to know if i could get a fuel sender from a EFI 280 or something and then just swap it in and upgrade the fuel pump, if it doesn't work i'll seal it shut and get a sump for the bottom but i want it semi stock looking, thanks for any input. bobbyc Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 the sending unit wont' make a difference...the big thing with a carbed cars gas tank is the lack of baffles. carbed cars can rely on fuel from the float bowls...where a long sweeper in a FI car, and fuel is pulled away from the pickup...and that can cause lean conditions.
