zgeezer Posted February 6, 2011 Share Posted February 6, 2011 (edited) The transmission oil cooler lines on a 5.3 LM7 are secured by a clip screwed to a pad on the oil pan. I've replaced that pan with one from an LS1 and have lost a that point to secure the oil lines. Can anyone out there with an LS1 and automatic transmission post a photo showing how those lines were secured. I purchased a small clip from my Chevrolet agency that is supposed to be an oil line retainer. Small question, but I've spent two days on it. Dudeboy Posted February 13, 2011 Share Posted February 13, 2011 I read your post, and did not have MAC Book due to system crash and repair. Good thing, did not lose pictures and I have everything backed up, The clips bolt into tapped existing holes. I have to rev-visit my hard-lines and bend them up away from the steering rack. Pictures attached rotate to the right, in the first photo the balancer is at the top of photo, and the second photo you are looking from behind the passenger tire.
