texis30O
I have #806, 1/70. Not the lowest but not that many I know of that are lower. Is it really going to make a differance in the value of the car if I paint it another color? Or should I paint it the original color and potentially get more money? There are only two other options that I want the car painted. Blanco Polo White ( lambo color) or a Dark pure black. Anyone know if the value will be less for an aftermarket paint color with a vin # so low ?
cockerstar
How are you restoring the car? Is it going to be all stock otherwise?
texis30O
Turbo Tom kit, staying on. It has Corbeau seats, but I am not opposed to refinishing the orig seats. Rb 17" wheels are planned. I am keeping the mechanics all old school. It has never ben wrecked.
rturbo 930
You might consider going with the original Datsun white (I forget the paint code) if it's close to the Lambo white, and you like it. I think I read you can change the color without hurting the value if you change it completely (inside and out), and it might even help if it's a more desirable color than the original. However, I think that only applies to year correct colors. I think this question might be best asked on classiczcars.com though.
getoffmyinternet
I never really considered z cars to be big collectors. At any rate, I think it's moot to keep the original paint if anything else is altered. It's 100% original or bust.
