mondello.v
Ok so im new to the z world and have a 75 280z. Eventually im doing a rb25det swap but first my plan is to start on the suspension and rear differential and work my way up to a drivetrain swap. no point in power if i cant get it to the ground and make it somewhat safe and handle like a dream. so far here is what ive figured. I want to order all this stuff monday minus the wheels already have those. ball joints energy suspension hyperflex bushing kit tokico hp performance struts eibach pro-kit springs msa sway bar kit msa front and rear strut bars now my questions is this. i bought a set of XXR 16x8 0 offset wheels and ive never bought tires for wheels this small. so i know im looking at 235 wide possibly? but im not sure on the height. any suggestions on a tire size. i dont want the stretch look i want them to be nice and flush and somewhat beefy. sticky280zx
there are way too many threads on this site already addressing this, please search and look thru the "WHEEL" section, theres more than a few threads with peoples setups and theres even group buy threads on the same wheels. ashintar
i like to use this as a reference to see how a tire will look on a rim. 225 on a 8 is "flush" 235 and 245 would prolly be the max on an 8 imo. I'm not sure how squirmy they would be though. http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp Edited February 16, 2011 by ashintar
