  1. These look pretty spiffy. http://www.zccjdm.com/catalog.php/azcarbum/dt93255/pd1827536/Z.C.C.___IMSA__RACE_ADJ._OUTER_TIE_RODS_
  2. They should be 8 inches I had the opposite issue where my car was slammed at max. His solution was to send a threaded extension to add 2-3 inches. So for whatever reason you were shipped the updated rears for a 280z. Not sure what can be done to reduce height might wanna give him a call or email.
  3. 225s on 9 inch wheels has been all the craze with the miata boys. The stretch is very minimal.
  4. Looks like its just a tool to get your sweet slammed hellaflush ride in and out of parking lots without scraping. I Wouldnt put any performance value into it for sure.
  5. All you really need is replacement cartridges for s13. Megan sells them $100 a piece and you Could prolly get the s14s sold on zilvia pretty easily.
  6. That's why I was asking if the height issue was just rear end related. The front coilovers don't look like they vary much but the rears are much different. s13 s14 As you can see the cartridge is much longer.
  7. Not sure what the issue can be honestly. I know crazyocto used them to slam the hell out of his ride and mine is pretty low with room to go lower. Only thing I can think of maybe Megan sent you s14s which are taller?
  8. Is it on the rear or on all 4 corners?. Also which kit.did you use?
  9. Correct s13 setup and its on nt01s 225/45/15
  10. 15x8.25 with 20mm spacers. I have ttt front and rear lcas to add track too
  11. I've tracked megans for almost a year with no complaints. Budget coilovers are all the same you get what you pay for. As of right now they are good enough to set some decent times at the tracks I've been to and I'm happy with that.
  12. It looks like -2.5 -3 degrees to me at most.
  13. Its got the pillow ball mounts front and rear. Any particular reason you are using dc2 coilovers vs the s13 setups from zcc / mckinney?
  14. I've tracked this setup being less than nice on them and haven't had any issues. As long as the welds are done proper you should be fine, but if you want to add a little bit of extra insurance you can run a piece of metal rod through it as well like this.
  15. Are you talking about the interior pieces? If so I have a set of 77 panels not sure if there is any variance that are in fair condition a couple of the connection points need a little love to be functional again but the exterior sides look decent.
  16. ordered up a set of flat blacks and bashed them around at chuckwalla.
  17. Yeah the star specs seem to be pretty wide for a 205. From my experience with them on a ae86 they were very predictable on track and seemed to last a bit longer than the other high performance street tires before they start giving up grip. I had to run >140 treadwear for the class at the local time attack and went through ventus, falken, kuhmo and yokos and other than the AD08s i liked them the best.
  18. if your running stock engine 205/50s will be more than enough tire for you. It should have a pretty good improvement in turning response with the 50 sidewall. The star specs are a great tire as well as the kuhmo 200 treadwear option for the price.
  19. Since you can see the future how much time is that in track days? 2-3? I get pretty aggressive with the rumble strips too hopping them during the time attack laps.
  20. Sounds like the typical drift / slammed ride. I'm sure they just set the ride height as low as it could go and then set the dampening to full hard. I have the megan s13 tracks using the adapter kit from zccjdm and my car's frame is pretty tweaked from previous owners. When the sr20 went in the balance of the car was horrible. It would just push through turns and was just very inconsistent. After the install I could finally get it corner balanced and it handles much better compared to a typical 5way lowering spring combo. Much like TheMission stated it's definitely a progressive improvement over stock, and for 75% of the owners it will be more than enough.
