Guest jdllaugh
Possible headline for an article about a mental patient who rapes a nurse and escapes from the hospital...... No, it's just me wondering where you buy replacements for all the rusted, busted and generally boogered up fasteners that I have left after taking apart my 240z. Auto Zone and similar places have a limited selection. Are there places on the web or businesses that sell the collection of metric nuts, screws and bolts needed to reassemble my Z? deMideon
The best place I have found is True Value hardware store. They have a better selection than any other stores!
Georgia Flash
James there is a guy who sells on ebay that sells complete bolt kits for parts of the Z. I lost a bidding war on a set of under hood stainless fender bolts a while back. The guy has a web site I will try to find it and post it in this thread. Here ya go: http://zcarcreations.sureshopping.com/
JoeinCA
James, that is hilarious... When my buddy managed to break BOTH of the bolts holding down my steering rack i went to this place called Fastenal... i think it may be a local gig though... FYI i call that place the costco of nuts, i asked for 2 bolts.... "uh, we only sell them in increments above 25" Some good auto places have a large stock of different nuts and bolts, but your best bet is the hardware store... OR machine them yourself from Aerospace titanuim alloy Joe.
