LanceVance
I recently picked up this camshaft. PO had it advertised as a "C grind", however it was off a turbo motor that Rebello racing may or may not have prepped. When it gets here however I notice B1 etched into the firewall end of the cam... now B cams are apparently the stock turbo cams from P90 equipped automatic cars. A little more research reveals that Rebello uses Isky, and Isky uses the B cam to make this cam, so maybe that's what I have?? Is the "1" a regrind designation? Either way, I don't have any precision measuring tools, so how can I find out what I have? Sorry to ask a newb question, but this is a little more complex than the average "what cam came in my car!?" thread, and there is a sense of urgency when I'm trying to decide weither or not to send it back. Edit: It also came with an oil spray bar... wouldn't a "B" grind from a P90 be internally oiled..? I'm just getting more confused evey time I look at it. Pictures: what is this "C" for? I always was under the impression the end mark was used to ID cams... This is where the PO got the C grind idea I'm betting. LanceVance
Anybody with an Isky cam, or even a stock B grind able to compare their cam to these pictures? I need to know weither or not to send this thing back...
Xnke
get out the measuring sticks and find out the lift and duration...that'll tell you a LOT more than a guess and a photo will.
