B00STDZ
Dont think they work with 89-94 240sx/90-96 300zx calipers though...
19762802+2
Dont think they work with 89-94 240sx/90-96 300zx calipers though... I hope that isn't true because that would suck. I believe on his site he says they are for maxima calipers which I believe are the same as 240sx calipers? I might have to send him a email sometime. Daz
Dont think they work with 89-94 240sx/90-96 300zx calipers though... I just got off the phone with Edan from Silver Mine Motors an he confirmed that those brackets will not work with 240sx calipers. They are made for a 2006 Mustang GT caliper & rotor. He went on to say that the 240sx disc swap is not really a good upgrade, that the caliper is weak and there's not enough pad surface for the rotor etc. That sucks cause I have some 240sx calipers ready for me to rebuild for this swap. I may still do it since I wont be racing of anything.

So I am planning on buying MM adapters and putting z32 rear calipers on them. Should bolt up perfect. Ebrake might be tricky. As z32 uses a drum ebrake that sits inside the disc. But I say z32 rear brakes are better than mustang rear brakes and 240sx rear brakes. z32 rear brakes are 2 piston aluminum calipers whereas mustang/240sx rear brakes are 1 piston. Daz
Z32, Me likey that ! Is that TT or NA or either ? Would I be able to retain my 4 lug bolt pattern(I just bought a set of Konig Rewinds)? Are there any pics of this anywhere ?
B00STDZ
Either works from my research. Also the bracket doesnt mount right on the hub, but rather a few inches behind the hub on a bracket used to mount the drum assembly. So the hub can be 4 or 5 lug. 4 lug you use a 300zx 1984-85 NA rotor. 5 lug you use a 1984-85 T rotor.
B00STDZ
There is no documentation of using a z32 rear caliper on an s30. But it makes sense that it would work as 89-94 240sx guys can switch to z32 calipers on the rear without modding the mount at all meaning the bolt pattern is the same as well as the distances. B00STDZ
If thats for a z32 front caliper I need that too. But I know no one makes that bracket that I know of so I was going to have it custom fabricated. Also on switching the s30 front brakes to z32, check out this thread I posted. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/99573-front-caliper-position/page__pid__933738#entry933738 Edited April 16, 2011 by B00STDZ
