Hey Everyone I have an 82 280zx and im really interested in MSA's 30th anniversary body kit (http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/7AP1/50-1444KI). Wondering if anyone has pics of this kit on their car, or if this is a bolt on kit or something that needs to be professionally installed and trimmed to fit. Any advice would be great thanks.

Thanks Murphyef Ill definately be trying that out here in a few days. yea the original owner of mine painted the tail lights, the reflector and the rear side markers in black spray paint...also started to paint interior parts (and did a horrible job i must add) in white.... did not get the chance to speak to the guy but sure would like to know what went thru his mind.

im no math major. but i learned enough in geometry to know that a line. is not supposed to V. at least he knew either way that the motor had 6 cylinders. im guessing he must have been an original designer and thats why he got a 78 zx. cause he sure seems to know what hes talking about .... some people dont deserve to sell a car, better yet own one.

I bought just basic 7" round h4 headlight housing off ebay for 30 bucks (also halo's but you can tell the halo's are cheap so they are never used) and then just went and bout a basic jlm h4 bixenon kit. i have high and low beams even thou you cant see much of a difference but the low beam is very bright and ive seen a MAJOR differene in lighting. everything combined with shipping was less than 100 dollars.

does anyone have the rear reflector from a 280zx in new to decent condition? ive called msa and plenty of other shops and everyone says its an aftermarket part from the 80's and will be impossible to find. the person i bought my z from thought it would be attractive to spray paint the tail lights and reflectors black and i want to replace them. attached is a picture, for those who don't know (which up until today included me) the reflector is the piece between the two tail lights, please help!

i just replaced all 4 speakers in my 82 280zx. front were 4 and rear were 6 1/4 round. did not even have to drill new holes fit perfectly. only problem was findin a 4 inch speaker shallow enough to fit the middle speaker under the dash. memphis makes one that did just fine
