  1. Here is a pic of my car at the Phillip Island race circuit in Australia. I was competing in a Super Sprint.
  2. Yes, it's a custom one, had it made by Alfa Motorsport Fibreglass in Australia. http://www.motorsportfibreglass.com.au/contact-us.php
  3. Finally finished all the aero mods, splitter, bonnet, rear wing and head light covers.
  4. Fire604, I only really drive the car on nice days or to the track, so water really isn't a concern. Nelsonian, The guys that made the bonnet can supply the vents only if required, they are in Australia see here. http://www.motorsportfibreglass.com.au/
  5. Thought I should share my new fibreglass bonnet (or hood as you guys call it) and big vents which I think will reduce under bonnet pressure.
  6. Here is a pic of the new front splitter and finished rear wing. Both turned out to be very effective.
  7. No the front spoiler/splitter/diffuser doesn't come off for the street, which means I have to be careful about where I drive!
  8. Here is a pic of my Zed in race setup. Wing on the back is removed for street driving.
  9. 260DET, in the drawing you refer to he is only talking about the function of the splitter. Take a look at the final drawing, in it he shows a diffuser, notice that it opens up as it goes back. Do a search for a picture of a V8 Supercar front splitter/diffuser and you will see what I mean. My splitter/diffuser is a copy of a early version VR Commodore.
  10. 260DET, all the literature I have read and real world examples have the diffuser the way I have it.
  11. This may be of interest, I recently made a new front splitter and under tray with a diffuser for my track 240Z. On the first outing it worked so well that it pulled the bottom half of my G nose down and started scraping on the ground!! I only realised this after my engine blew up and I got out of the car after stopping on the track!! Some pictures of the spoiler and also of the hole in the engine block, the engine is a RB26. cheers,
