  3. I'm a pretty happy camper to say the least..

Ideas were collaborated from Brian Lane's excellent write-up. Some minor changes took place. Before: After: Yay for Hammerite!!!

  4. Well after almost a year of not sharing my progress, I guess it's about the right time to do so:
  5. Found this on the CL today. Any ideas on what they are?? Seem pretty cool to me! http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/pts/3419322082.html
  6. I believe it was an option for the 280zx turbo.
  7. http://jjizzle.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/20120330-090327.jpg They're almost like a saleen replica wheel...
  8. I like the way you think!!!!^^^^^^^ How is the new track? I saw a video of a demo lap RIGHT after it was paved. Looks sweet!!!!
  9. YES! Finally!!! I'm out of Auburn-Black Diamond! Sending PM OmakZ.
  10. Beautiful! I'm curious as to what muffler that is....
  11. What are the wheel specs on the white one? Looks rather fantastic! Cheers.
  12. Hey that sounds great!!! We are already a ways into the swap so there is no turning back now.. I should have been close to done by now, but my car was stolen on the 12th and was returned 10 days later without the flares or air dam. Some of the electrical is screwy now too.. Damn criminals.. I'll definitely let you know when it's done though!!! Pics of the swap will be coming soon.
  13. Hahahaha! I just wish my dad could think the same way...
  14. Yes, the wheels DO in fact make the full radius, that is, when paired with 1" spacers in the front, and 1.5" spacers in the back. I'd love to see your car sometime!. I have been wanting to witness a L28ET in action.
  15. Dee, What is you exhaust setup? Is it just a universal muffler? I've been very curious as to how these might sound. I'd love to see a video.
  16. I think I need to update this more often.-__- SO! Not much is different since the last pics besides the fact that the wheels are actually on the car. Oh! Flares have also moved in. I'm still waiting on a time to go fetch some welting from the local VW shop to stick behind them. As of the past week, I have faced a dilemma on what is next.. Do I want exhaust? Should I get seats that actually HAVE a headrest? Should I lower this bastard like it really needs to be? Should I give it the paint job it deserves? If so, what color? The decisions never stop and I can only do so little being an part-time employed 17 year old... For the future power plant, I have also reached a dead end. This is because in one corner of the garage, sits a nice'n purdy L28 accompanied by a 5 speed that seems to give me the puppy eyes every time I walk into the garage. BUT, in the complete opposite corner, a mint 5.0 HO out of an '89 sits with its T5 partner. I feel like the l28 is the angel in one shoulder, and the v8 is the Devil on the other.. How much work is really involved in the v8 swap? I should point out that the v8 is fuel injected. All in all, what would you guys prefer? Show before Go? Or visa-versa? I think it's time for pictures, yes? Wheels are XXR 527, 17x8.25 & 17x9.75. Rear tires are 245/45 and fronts are 215/45 Sits much too high in the rear. Good friend's bagged Thing driving with me to a show.
  17. I highly appreciate the answers guys. Thanks
  18. Follow the link below to see the picture of a Nissan C110 that has been posted by Stancenation. IMO, this color would look FLAWLESS with my gunmetal wheels. Some identification would be much appreciated. Thanks, Zhunter
  19. New-to-240z, In the rear, I have 245/45/17. In the front, I have 215/45/17. On the stock fenders, the rear tires stuck out a good 1.5 to 2 inches. Fronts fit flush. Flares are just your average size from MSA. Note: A minimum of 1.25" spacers are required for the rear wheels to fit.
  20. Thanks for the complements. Dailydrifter, I have been thinking of doing the same thing actually, but it might be a while since money doesn't come easy when you're 17. hahaha
  21. Pictures finally. Call them repulsive or whatever ya want, but when these babies have coilovers for neighbors, i think the car will look pretty damn good..
