i just rode in a l28et car that runs 11s and omgizzle stix. that thing is FCUKING FAST!!!!!!!!!!!! so that inspired me to get some work done. i ripped off the rear bumper and got the seats outta the car. also ripped up the f-glass covering the floor/tranny tunnel. pics now.

it depends on your goals with the car. id suggest looking at the faq about the turbo engine. if u are looking to make under 300 hp then u can stay n/a. but if u are looking for more than that l28et is the way to go. both the l28 and the l28et are good motors, but it all depends on what u want to do with the car. what are ur goals for the car(hp), daily driven/track?

most of us are in the usa and skylines arent sold here. but there are probably smalle emissions differences in the countries they are sold in. I highly doubt its anythin major. good choice on the wheels man, the car looks good

i might need a driver side door from a 240z and a uncracked 73 dash.

my daily driver is a g35c 6mt and i love the vq35. id love to help any way possible with scraping up info on this swap. vq powaaaaa:D

thanks guys. im very pleased with the car. although there is not much rust seen... i still have yet to tear it down and see how much rust there REALLY is. so far, the batt tray needs to go(was just covered with sheet metal), and the floorpans(mainly the driver side). we shall see how much rust there really is soon. . anyways i would like to do a lot of things like repaint, half cage, full interior,1jzgte, zg flares, fender mirrors, watanabe wheels etc etc. but we shall see what my wallet says:wink:

im now the proud owner of a 73 240z. found it in tennesee for 1k. i also got a few cool magazines and vintage catalogs along with the car. HUGE thanks to matt (spark280zt) for towing the car for me. the project begins. my uncle goofing around

there are 2jzgtes that come from supras as well as aristos in japan and other car i believe. are they all the same besides the transmissions an ecus?
