  3. I'm not familiar with aluma-seal? What exactly is this?
  4. This is kind of a intermittent problem, I notice a slight coolant leak coming from the back of the motor near the bottom of the bell housing where it mates to the block. I checked the headgasket and its completely dry, I also checked the freeze plugs that are visible and I see no leaking from them either. Are there any freeze plugs behind the flywheel/clutch area? The engine is the original L24.
  5. Thanks for the input. I've searched about this swap and have read many times about guys using this plug and play connector so I decided to go that route.
  6. I'm in the process of doing the 280zx alternator upgrade using the special connector MSA sells. I was trying to source a 280zx alternator and I'm not sure which one I need or if they are indeed the same?
  7. Has anyone experienced any wheel fitment issues after doing the 4x4 vented front brakes? I'm running 15" rota rb wheels on my car but I'm concerned about the clearence Between the caliper and the back of the spokes?
  8. I was on a mission today looking for a RB for my 71 Z. I went to a jdm engine importer and noticed alot of rb25's in stock had the typical ignitor on top of the valve cover. I then came across a rb25 with no ignitor on top of the valve cover...there was just a plug there. After searching about this on here I realized that was the difference between the series 1 and series 2 rb's. Now my question is, if you guys had the option, which motor would you go with? series 1 or 2? To my understanding the wiring aspect is the same between the two.
  9. Will the MM brackets with the 240sx caliper setup clear 15" wheels?
  10. I just installed these a few weeks ago aswell. Mine were a very tight fit aswell, I used a rubber hammer and hammered them in. I find using some sort of lubricant makes installing these alot easier! Good luck!
