  1. Selling 1972 Datsun 240z project car. This car needs paint and assembled. I have been collecting parts for almost twenty years. I have thousands of dollars in NOS parts and aftermarket parts. First on the list is a r33 rb26dett. I have had motor in car all mocked up and running. Comes with os giken twin disk clutch, ati crank pulley and blitz tuned ecu. all coolant line are braided stainless st...

  2. My name is Jayson, and I've been working on a 1977 280Z for a while now. I noticed on the "Wheel Show!" thread that you had the exact wheels I was eyeing, and I wanted to know if you could fit the 17" x 9" 5Zigen wheels in the stock wells. I currently have the complete set of Arizona Z car suspension parts front and back (including coilovers), along with the 5-lug disc brake conversion and big slotted 13" front rotor with 4-pots on all wheels. Dave at Arizona Z Car said the 5-lug conversion adds .5" space to the front and .75" to the back.

I want to put the 5Zigen FN01R-C 17x9 wheels with +35 offset at all 4 corners , on 245 tires. Do you think this setup could work with the 280? Will I need to roll the fenders? I'm going to keep the stock fender width (i.e. not put in ZG flares or wide-body kits).

Your car is kickass btw, definitely liking the red. :)

  3. check this out, you could own the mold http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-Body-kit-molds-and-body-part-molds_W0QQitemZ280305382053QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item280305382053&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A64|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318
  4. here is the picture John was talking about that shows the rear. and this one shows how the front is tied to the TC box.
  5. Hey Cary. dont make it so easy for Mike, it took me 6 months to to find out that wont work.
  6. it's marginal at low idle, but it works fine from 900rpm up with the stock pulley setup. a slightly smaller pulley on the pump should solve that problem.
  7. You can use a pump from an S130 if you use an electric fuel pump. the S130 pump will mount where the fuel pump goes and it will line up with the third pulley. if you don't have three pulleys make sure you get one from the 79-83 donor along with the pump bracket and idler.
  8. I hope you make it. I dont want to be the only Chevy powered Datsun runnin with the Shelby boys again. (actually they are a great group of guys).
  9. 5zigen F 17x9 245's R 17x10 275's Just switched to 5 lug, this is now the only set of wheels I have that fit my car.
  10. Yes Paul, that's an extension from the adjuster. the shocks are the current AZC setup.
  11. I wish now I had taken more pictures when this happened. this is all I have
  12. yes. I think moisture got in through a crack that I failed to notice, and the resulting rust helped speed up an inevitable failure. I don't think the rust caused the problem though.
