I found this while flipping through a HOT ROD magazine the other day. This places make prebent replacement brake lines for our cars as well as some other replacement lines. http://www.classictube.com/catalog.asp Look in Section 5 of the catalog and scroll down until you see the import section. Datsun is listed there. Hope this helps anyone that has been looking to replace their hard lines

Well I havent been able to do anything to the 280Z yet....but here is one of my favorite mods on my 350Z

The dash turned out awesome. How does the Glove Box door match to the new dash...did you refinish it as well? Just out of curiousity if you were really serious how much would you want to refurb a dash?

I would look for something along the lines of a Early 90's Sentra. Plenty of parts and aftermarket for them and the cost can be low. Also it is very easy to swap in the SR20 motor if the car didnt come with it.

That color looks a lot like "Lemans Sunset" that was available on the 03-05 350Z's.

The 4.0 liter motor out of the new Frontiers would be a blast to have in a old Z. Stillen makes a supercharger that bumps hp up to around 400hp. Nissan Sport magazine has one on a Pathfinder that they speak highly of. Remember starting in 2005 all Pathfinders, Xterra's and Frontiers came with the 4.0 liter. In the Pathfinder it got an aditional 10 hp to 275. Also in the trucks and Xterra's there is a 6 speed manual available. I have driven the 6 speed King cab trucks and they are a blast.

The only problem that I am aware of using the GTI-R engine would be that the block is the same as the front wheel drive sentras and not the rear wheel drive 240's or Silvias. In short it wont work. Just buy a nice S13 Turbo motor(red top) and enjoy. You could look for a S14 put the for the difference in price it isnt worth the extra money. Everything you would change on the S13 you would also end up changing on the S14....so start out cheaper and you will be way ahead.
