I've been running the "recommended" 390cfm Holley for about a year now and overall it has worked quite well. The engine runs well and starts within a couple seconds whether it is 100 or 20 degrees outside. The only thing don't like is that when the choke/fast idle are set up for winter use and there is a warm day the car will fast idle for an unnecessarily long time. Not a real problem, just a slight annoyance sometimes.

I don't have any pics right now. I'll post some when I'm home this weekend. I made the "pocket" the iPod sits in just behind the shifter hole in the console. Obviously this location wouldn't work for an iPad but it works well with an iPod or iPhone.

I haven't seen an iPad either but I did make a custom wood insert that allows my iPod touch to sit flush in the console. I am still running a separate sound system and just using the iPod for song selection on the aux input.

From everything I've read a resonator should solve the drone problems. I was planning on installing one but a V8 swap is now in the works so I haven't bothered to do so. Just fyi, the exhaust is also rather loud right now... but a resonator should help with that too

I'm currently running a 2.5" exhaust straight from the header into a 4" case magnaflow muffler with a three inch dynomax tip. It sounds good at idle and higher rpm's but there is a horrible drone from 1800 to 2500 rpm.

You know you own a Datsun when you start up your daily (a Dodge Durango) and think "I haven't seen a third gen Hemi in a Z yet."

That looks like the seatbelt relay that prevents an A/T car from starting if the seatbelt is not buckled...

They should be the same.

The bellhousing bolts are longer on the 5-speed (I think they're 20mm longer but I'm not 100% sure on that). I also seem to remember that the flywheel/flexplate bolts were the same length. Good Luck.
