  1. Hard to say, but I would think $1500 would be a good starting price for negotiations. Just remember to sell it as is and don't imply that it will pass smog, so they can't come back and sue you because it failed emissions.

  2. I played with this idea a while back and came to the conclusion that you would have to removed the glass, cut the plastic tray/mount off the lights themselves and custom make a bracket to mount them where the original lights where, then make a clear piece of glass or lexan and mount it over the lights. It's about the only way you are going to be able to get the good lights and not look like ass.

  3. The Z31 turbo ECU is more than capable of adjusting for them. You can make anywhere from 170whp to 260whp on the stock Z31 ECU, and it'll still be rich as a pig at high RPMs in boost. But thats the issue, is its rich as **** and can't be relied on for the most power you can get.

Did you change the MAF yet like I told him to to tell you before, and like others have told you? Just curious how this thing is coming.

What does this have to do with HP? the ECU is tuned for stock cams, going with a higher lift and/or a longer duration will throw that tune off. No matter how much you change the timing, it will not correct the tune.

  4. Off the top of my head, 3 z32's, 5 z31's, 3 240z's, 1 280zx, 1 280z and I think there might be two more I'm forgetting about.

Riding in my uncles black 280z when I was 5(?) was my first experience in a z car and is what got me started.

  5. I'm on the opposite of the relay spectrum, I like using relays on everything practical, but use the ground to control it. I have burned out too many switches and set to many cars on fire to go back to using switches alone to hold the current. Also be sure to hook up an alternator kill switch on that 4 post battery disconnect and don't forget the ford solenoid.

  6. Take a look at Driver's Ed. in Europe... say Luxembourg, and then look at their teenage crash statistics. Then come back.

Basically, it needs to be more expensive to get your license, more in depth, and they need to show what to do in emergencies. Not just tell you.

I agree, make it expensive, raise the age limit, make it harder to get and do a re-test every 25 years...
