  1. I have a 1973 with the wheel well mounted prop valve and then firewall mounted that feeds passenger front brake and rear brakes. I have been able to mount the stock 15/16 ZX booster to the Z31 brake booster. I made new lines for that. I did by an adj. prop valve.

-Is the firewall mounted proportioning valve a "damper" device of some sort. I do not know why there would be 2 proportioning valves. I did take it apart and cleaned it (wow was it nasty, both of them actually).

    Thanks, GI

  2. -I read up on the "fast fill MC aka Quick uptake MC".

    - It does not say you can use  a non-low drag caliper with a fast fill MC.

-But, it did say you cannot use low drag caliper with a regular MC.

    -So my question is:

-Can I block off one of the front caliper ports, since it has 2 for the front, and run it with regular calipers?

    Thanks,

    GI

  3. Can someone please guide me to a comprehensive aftermarket re-wire write-up for the 240Z.

-I have a 1973 that is a shell and Just seems that there is just way to much wire in the stock harness.

-The company that was going to restore the car (failed project sadly) had one of there guys cut up some of the original harness.

-I also plan to use the speedhut gauges and would like to modernize the harness.

-I do have the EZ 20 circuit harness.

    Many thanks, G Ichiro

  4. I just found a nice 1973 in OR area. My dad picked it up and took it to his Uncle's shop to check the basics and then off to z-car garage for a head to toe inspection and recommendation. I am excited, it looks really nice. Thanks for all your help. Now I'll be posting in teh other areas for parts/diagnostic help. GI

  5. Sounds great, but i do not have the time or shop to put it all together though. I am looking for a z like "lumberjack" sold recently, "ready to go". Thanks for your time. George
