I was at my friends repair shop this morning and he had an 300ZX VG30DETT engine built by Stillen sitting on an engine stand. Seems the customer blew the engine up and it was torn down for inspection. No heads, intake, water pump, oil pan etc., - just the block on the engine stand. It looked very small, so I took the liberty to quickly measure it. Here are the "engine block" dimensions: Engine: Length= 15.5" Height= 9.5" Width= 14.5" Just thought someone would be interested in this info. RacerX

I was curious to know for what purpose you are building or have built your Zcar. Did you build it for primarily straight line acceleration as in the quarter mile? Or for canyon carving the twists and turns of road racing? Or just for the enjoyment of street driving though every now and then when that short straightaway comes around the bend or knowing that the twists and turns are about to come up.
