Wow... that was actually pretty sweet!

Hey Guy! Good to see you around. The software switch just happened a couple days ago, so you're not too out of the loop on that.
Any pics of the repaired hood? That hood is bad luck! First the bolts dimpling up, then the alt. blowing up, haha.

my computer skills are constantly improving but cameras, and transferring photos to computers still seem to make me crazy...
does anyone have a clear picture of the lower drivers side block area and the oil filter and oil temperature sensor location on a sbc engine?
IM looking for a clear picture of the area where the temp sensor normally screws into the block in the port above the oil filter flange, angles not as important as clearly showing the location
I have a couple bare blocks in the garage, let me know if you want other pictures.

Woah, the instrument cluster on that thing is wild!

Haha, that was pretty good

You're going to need a lot of rice for your cooker...

The toes you step on today may be connected to the ass you have to kiss tomorrow

Not if it's a FWD... as almost every ricer is.
But it makes peeling out at stop lights easier!

Hire a couple hobos to sit on it while you're driving and you'll have all the traction you could ever need!

I'll work on the pantera pictures, nice car, but not show quality, this one is a driver. Interesting car though.
Red z is still sitting, so is the '55, although the motor, trans and trans crossmember are now in the '55. Rad showed up the other day for '55, need to install a wiring harness in '55, not looking forward to that.
Jeep is hauling A$$ as usual but the snow and lack of doors on the jeep keep it from being driven. I'm really pleased with the heads so far on that motor.
The z is the next thing on my list, after roundy round racing that is.
Good to hear the jeep motor is holding up! My machine shop said they barely touched up the guides on a couple valves but most of them were in spec and the valves looked fine. I guess these heads are kind of a crap shoot.

I didn't realize that Jeeps would launch into the air when a pipe punctures the radiator. Kinda scary and you would think Jeep would do something about that problem.
Haha, that's exactly what I thought! I'm also amazed how Indian Jeeps seem to be able to spontaneously jump over obstacles. No need for a rock crawler, just jump up!

Don't mean to steer the thread off topic, but any suggestions for someone who already likes whisky and bourbon? I like Maker's Mark, Knob Creek, and Pendelton to name a few.

Good to hear!

No, black pearl was a 1978 option only.
Right, thanks. I was thinking Black Gold, the anniversary one.
-
And Black Pearl was S130, right?

It's ok JSM. I have to admit that I like Lady Gaga. "Bad Romance" makes my heart flutter.

Just to double check, you have the motor mounts that look like this, correct?
It's been a couple years since I did the actual motor swap in my ZX, but the major issue I remember running into was the trans running into the tunnel, but I'm using a 700r4, not a T5. The T5 is (from what I remember) smaller. Double check you're not contacting anywhere on the bellhousing, frame rail, etc maybe?

Note that it is a s130, not s30.

Sorry for your loss. Like the others have said, talk to your professors. If nothing else, they'll tell you what you will miss ahead of time so you can make it up.
