Hi again guys, I have finally got the engine and gearbox in, and the exhaust done yesterday. But I am concerned about the gearbox crossmember. I have done it the same as JTR but the floor seems very thin and I am concerned the floor will get ripped out. there is no rust in the floor. The exhaust place seems to think the same as me. Does anyone have a different way of securing the gearbox? thanks Graeme.

Got a mate with a 92 model 318i, he puts on the track, the thing is so light and handles great. Such a shame it still has the standard 4. I told him go a v8 conversion but he dosnt have the mechanical skills to take on such a large progect..never mind.

hey guys, I am looking for a website to get a pair of chev engine mounts to bolt the jtr engine mounts to? I have a 327 chevy ready to go in, but i need some motor mounts to bolt to the crossmember. JTR just say any wrecker, but the wreckers in Australia dont have them and I would like to order some online if possible. Thanks Graedat

Ok, The car is weekend fun car and will be put on the track up to 5 times a year just for some sprints and time trials(fun). My budget is around $1500 AUS for fronts and rears or just do the fronts for up to a grand.

Hi all, I have justed inserted a 327 into my z and want a good reliable brake upgrade for the fronts. I want to retain the 4 stud pattern for my rims which are 17inchs. Im an Aussie, so anyone in melbourne would be helpful, thanks G

hey guys, I am about to wire up my v8 and want to know if I can use the external regulator alernator that came with my 327? It looks identical to the nissan 260z at the back and the plugs fit and everthing. Could I just wire it up the same or go the internal reg that the JTR manual suggests to? Thanks Graedat

I have a 327 67 model engine with double hump fuelie heads and flat top pistons with valve recesses. Also has a torker edelbrock manifold with a double pumper 750 holley carb. The engine number is 3903352. The valve are 1.95/1.5 size. How much power will this thing produce? I have taken the heads off for a regrind and the bottom end looks freshly recoed. I took out the cam and cant identify it. It has stamped on it GMC 1539. Can any one tell me what this cam is? Thanks guys Graedat

I have just bought a 327 chev for my 260 without a flywheel or flex plate. It has a starter, is there any way to identify whether the starter is 153 or 168 tooth? Thanks Graeme
