The new zooms are as good as the AF-I and AF-S non VR primes?

When will this come to Nikon? I would rather pony up the money for a prime lens with three focal lengths if the quality is there.

I am an estimator for a high tech mechanical contractor. I worked toward this job for the last ten years. I finally have it and now I want to start my own business eventually. I love where I am at, only have a 5 mile commute and can afford to let my wife stay home with the kid in the Bay Area, CA.

I sold this one...well some of the rights anyway. I still have poster and photographic rights though...if anyone is interested .

It's what I used to do for a living (industrial piping) now I am an estimator in the same field. I used to fly a Piper Warrior also. My pager code in high school was 5177 and stood for Superman...used to lift a lot of weights but now I am just you average everyday couch potato. I'll make it back to the gym eventually but the kid and work have me too damn busy!

Both on the BG. I desaturated it and used a light orange filter.

My Z gets processed in my garage, the image was processed in Photoshop. I only tweaked the background and blurred the edges around the selection line. I did dangle that a little bit huh?

My two favorites are.... Spike Spiegel and... Takumi Fujiwara I also thought Lt. Rick Hunter was pretty cool when I was a kid. I love the classic US stuff, but the late 90's early 2000's anime is cool stuff.
