  1. Quick quuestion... I ordered some Bosch 280-150-400 from motor man and don't want to wait to order a fuel rail.

I am pretty sure they need a 14mm rail but wondered if anyone knows off the top of their head, so I can order my rail before they come in.

These injectors are from the CFI Fords back in the 80's. Injector clips plug right in.

They are low impedence also which is perfect for my MS1 V3.0

Also if you are looking for a cheap high flowing injector I would take a look at these two from Motor Man Injection

    280-150-400 Flows 437cc 42.8lb/hr $24.99 a piece

    280-150-403 Flows 503cc 49.3lb/hr $24.99 a piece

    Good info!!!

  2. Need a little forum 101.

How do you get a specific search to work. If I type in something like "same side intercooler" I get results for every post that has any of these words. When I am trying to find posts that have all three words in them. Searching like this "same+side+intercooler" doesn't seem to work either.

Like the new site other than that though....

  3. I got 2 r200 3.54. Pretty much I unbolted the whole rear suspension carrier and junked the cars after I got the goodies out. They came out of 81 and a 83 turbo 280zx with auto transmissions.. I pm'd you my number.

I will sell you whatever you need / want to go with the r200 for $150 plus shipping. I live in Hampton VA.

These are the cars they came off of if it makes any difference...

  4. Not sure yet. I actually bought this unit from a guy at Jefferson Labs in Newport News that works or worked with the guys that designed it. I think Bruce Bowling. I think they are engineers at Jefferson Labs. Said he helps with the R&R but has never seen a car use it. He is interested and seeing the final product when I get it installed.

  5. Yep I have nothing there where your circle is, not sure if thats the correct way to do it or not. If it is for VR I don't think I need it. VR is for EDIS triggering isn't it?

I still need to jumper IGBTOUT to IGN and I think I am done.

  6. Think I got it all done. Trying to follow the layout on diyautotunes page. If I could get a double check on my work I would appreciate it. Little confused where to put the jumper on the ign side. Any help would be appreciated.

Only thing I did differently was put my resistor in the proto area instead on heatshrinking it on the back.

List goes on and on that is what I look for but I get the stuff CHEAP at my local pick and pull's

  8. I actually bought a 11-87 last year. Great gun but honestly you will never need the 3 1/2 IMHO. I hate shooting my friends 3.5 mossberg. When we duck hunt he never uses 3.5 always 3.

Definatley get the 3 inch and not the 1100 model that only accepts 2 3/4. I remember reading that the 3.5inch model sometimes jams with light loads also. There is that new style barrel seal activator in it.

Only things I don't like is the oring gets chewed up in the gas chamber. And I hate where Remington puts the safety's on their guns. I swap barrels a lot since I have to use slugs in this part of VA. I found a guy that sells the seals on ebay real cheap though.

If you want cheap and reliable the 870 is it. Hell it's proven through time. Wally world has the best price on it I think. I know I don't take my 1187 in the duck blinds. I always drop my duck gun at least twice and it seems to stay wet and muddy throughout the hunt.

I have a Browing Citori 525 for my yearly pheasant trips, 1187 for deer and dove, and a beat to hell 870 with synthetic stock for duck.

  9. I got mine through marriage. It was a 1980 and my father in law was an insurance adjuster. He bought it lightly wrecked in 1989 finally tried to get it done for his daughters 16 bday but didn't. At that point he managed a body shop and had it fixed and painted but not running.

Then I joined the Air Force in 2000 as an E2 married his daughter and he gave the car to her. I got it running and probaly was making 22000 a year and she was making 15000.

Long story short car has 60,000 miles and I got lucky and it was given to me. (although title is in her name, I guess I am just the personal mechanic)

  10. Well I won't be the one telling you to put a lojack on your daughter but there is definately no doubt those kids are yours!

Congrats on the commision. That is a huge deal! I wish I worked harder I would have loved to go to the Air Force Academy. Now I am just working harder later in life <(arr damnit)> 26 and half way to my BS degree.

SuperPickle you caught me,, we were also trying for King Salmon but it was late in the season and no action going on. Also it's a lot easier to drink beer when the boat is standing still. Not to bad for a military TDY. You probaly saw us on tv, one of our pilots hit a F16 and had to eject from his f15 and it crashed into the side of a mountain. That definately was a sobering moment for all of us there....
