  1. I found mine on GTRC forum in the forsale adds, paid 250$ for it RB26 ill be running twin RB25 mafs good for more HP then i plan on having and It can even tune on ford lightning MAF'S wich to me sounds like almost 1000hp potential lol those are HUGE ! 90mm

  2. Depending how serious you are about the road racing, I produced a bbk for the z31 specifically with the z31 non-turbo hubs in mind (the cheap, easy ones to get) which could in theory work on the earlier Z if the hubs do... the only custom part would be the bracket, but the calipers are radial mount which makes that easy

Now I have bored out a couple of the hats to 73.1mm to try on the earlier hubs, but I haven't yet had a chance to mock them up on an actual car to know if there's enough clearance, the hat offset is more than average...  see more: http://www.ontariozcar.com/forum/showthread.php?2444-Response-Type-13-quot-front-BBK-for-300ZX-Z31

You'd push the wheel out 7mm relative to your bolt-on hubs using a setup like mine on your hubs (more if using z31 hubs), because the rotor now slips on, however the high hat offset will keep the caliper more inboard, you should have very good spoke clearance compared to other bbk's...

Where can we buy this kit ?

  3. Just for your information the shit box awd you speak of has the same internals as the 300zx tt and non turbo and that goes for the rb25 tranny as well they all interchange internally. I agree with you its not a getrag but its a very goodd tranny.

As for a choice between the 2 if you live in north america then a 2JZ has WAY MORE support then the RB26.

    my 2 cents.

  4. I got a Carbonetics twin disc installed in the Z and you say you have problems with it ? My car isnt finished yet but would you tell me what the proble is since the engine is not in the car and i still have time to change it ? I read that the carbonetics was the best street clutch that it was factory like engagement and that 6 pucks were like an on off switch ...

  5. I've read several posts online saying that the Tomei manifolds tend to crack over time and to stick with the stock manifolds. If anything just port match the stock manifolds for better gains without the worry of cracking. Is any here running the Tomei manifolds? I'd like to here your feedback on them.

That is what i did i port matched my stock manifolds it was a easy but time consuming job.

  6. The transmission is not in the car yet but my guess is that it will be almost the same as 240hoke's adapter so it should be in the back but very close to center. From the measurements i took it should be fine. I measured from engine mount to center of tranny hole and when I removed the center shaft on the linkage it was very close to the center measurments.

  7. Hi, I posted in the Chris Rummel how to but didnt get an answer. On the RB26 harness im trying to find the pin number for the Air regulator and the wire colors. In the GTR FSM I cant find it and on google the pin outs pictures dont contain them anywhere ? Any help is welcome.
