  1. Hello everyone. I've got a quick question. I am running a fuel cell in my S30 and i made a 2.5" filler neck from the gas door to the cell. I used Silicon 4ply intake couplers to join the tubes together but I have no clue if those couplers are safe to use with fuel. The car hasnt really seen the road yet, but i just wanted to make sure that its safe to use them without them deterriorating and clogging the fuel filter. If anyone knows anything in this topic, please help me out. Here is a picture of the setup so you can see what im talking about:
  2. Have you decided on on what diff youre gonna use? Im thinking of going with the r200 short nose out of the J30 infinity. its the same as the q45 buy has a 3.90 gear. I decided to go this route because if anything breaks in the diff then i can justgo to the junk yard and get another. its not the same with the longnose. Its also because I'm planning on running 700+hp through it. In your case it might be different. Bohdan
  3. 99.9% of the problems are MAF related. That is the reason why i went with stand-alone ecu that runs on Map sensor and not on MAF. make sure that your intake pipe is secure to the turbo and that there are no leaks. that is just ac critical as all the piping on the intercooler and the throttle body that you said forgot to tighten. also check if your tps is adjusted properly. 4. Not really what I am asking. I am not looking for the complete kit, I am looking for a place that sells the CV axles and the Hub adapters. i can do all the mounts and everything myself except for the axles and the hub adapter.
  5. Hello everyone, I'm kind of new to the forum and I am currently working on building my Rb25 260z. The thing is, i have a short nose r200 differential from the infinity J30, (if im not mistaken, same differential as Q45)and I've been searching on how to install it, but I cant find anyone that sells CV axles to convert. And im not sure what to do with the wheel hubs since the only thing I found was the R230 CV hub adapters on Modern Motorsports, and those guys just do not respond to emails.
  6. Still looking for one, if anyone has got one let me know.
  7. BUMP... Still looking for a hatch!
  8. Really need the S30 hatch since mine was rusted. i started repairing it. but too much welding is needed. Dont need the glass, just the hatch door. Located in Homestead, FL
  9. I totally agree with you. the whole time i was running MAF my BOV was open, never recirculated, And the car ran just fine. (for a little over a year) then came Microtech -Bohdan
  10. Then on the other though it can be a dumb idea becuase the air that accumulates after the throttle body closes might interfere with the readings.
  11. I've heard of people putting the MAF right before the throttle body to avoid issues with bov etc. I haven't done it myself because by the time i found out i was already on Microtech ecu with MAP sensor. Maybe you should give it a try? -Bohdan
  12. The thread is M12x1.25 Here is the thread where its mentioned: http://www.freshalloy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136304. The RB sensor is the same as the KA because i had to switch mine to the KA one for the gauge to read properly in my 240sx. And if i were you, it the hole is bigger than the 1/8npt then drill it larger and tap with a 1/4npt and use ad adapret fitting from 1//4 to 1/8... Just like ZT-R mentioned. -Bohdan
  13. If you decide to eliminate the boost solenoid, that is fine also. while i was running on stock ECU (about 8 months) it worked fine and didnt have any error codes. I also never used the IAA valve either. Had power steering but no a/c and the car would never stall because of those things. -Bohdan
  14. I cant believe that those Mckinney mounts are so damn expensive and still you need to tamper with them to make them work ok. Kind of sucks. Im going to try to make some of my own mounts out of the ones that are in my 240sx. You can take out the VSS if you dont want to use it, but you will need to close up that hole somehow because the oil will spill out. Hope this helped -Bohdan
  15. I was also wondering why you put so much dynamat everywhere. Does it really make a big difference? -Bohdan
  16. Just saying. when i look into mine it looks nothing like that. I change my oil every 2k miles or so. Maybe thats why. -Bohdan
  17. No offense to you or anything, but it looks like who ever had the motor before you never changed the oil. -Bohdan
  18. Make sure that is the RB25DET transmission, i cant really tell by the picture. There has been many cases where people got ripped off with the RB20 transmission when they bought an RB25 motor. Its way cheaper and weaker. -Bohdan
  19. Ok, cool. Send me the pics of the bracket to: bkos90@yahoo.com I already got the latch, so just need the bracket now. Thanks -Bohdan
  20. do you have the bracket that holds the latch? it mounts to the firewall
  21. Hello everyone. Im need of the s30 hood latch assembly, the bracken on the firewall with the latch, and the stuff on the hood itself. apparently the previous moron decided to take it out. i have no clue why. so he even ripped out the hood bracket. I have a early 260z, so im guessing the 240z and the 280z parts should work fine. here is a pic of half of what i need:
  22. Im looking for early 260z condenser, drier, and lines. anyone has send me a PM or email me bkos90@yahoo.com thanks Bohdan
