  1. Hey guys! Updating this post with my new plans. I've realized going into my second year of college as an engineering student I won't have time to do a full restoration. I have time to do some work and my own barn and tools, so flawless isn't what I'm looking for necessarily. I am looking for a well sorted 240z, with minimal to no rust. Preferably restored or an original rust free car. Extra rust proofing is a MAJOR plus. Modified drivetrain is fine, but nothing crazy. I plan on using this vehicle as a DD. Anything from a bone stock L24 to a modified L28 will do, so long as we're keeping some decent gas mileage figures here A/C is a plus, but definitely not a necessity, I drive around without it every day anyway. 5 speed also a plus, but again not necessary. I like body styling from stock to some classic JDM (Fender mirrors/flares, Air Dam, Spoilers). I appreciate them all. I've got a decent sized budget, but I know what is a good deal and what isn't, been watching Z prices for a few years now. I live in California, but if the price and car is right I'd be willing to fly across the country to drive the car home. Thanks PM Me or email me at peterckarla@gmail.com
  2. Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.
  3. Yeah I definitely do, I just spent a day at Thunderhill raceway. I just wanted to get started and have some fun building a car because I love to do it. I'll also have a job pretty soon so that will help.
  4. Hey everyone, I'm looking for a 1982-1983 280zx, preferably with a turbo and the T-5 manual transmission. I have been looking into these cars for a while now, and I have always been in love with the Nissan Z cars. I figured this would be a good one to start with to get into racing. I am 17 years old and looking to get into a little bit of track racing, I am looking for anything that you guys are willing to give me to feel free to post whatever you have. A bit of rust is not a problem, and interior really doesn't matter either, so long as is has most of the parts it needs to run. So if any of you are willing to help me out here I would really appreciate it. I don't have much money so free would be really amazing, or maybe we can work something out. I live in northern/central California, about 45 minutes north of Sacramento, and I can probably tow the vehicle. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this, and hopefully one of you can help me out and I can start working towards my dream! Edit: Also I will gladly take a non-turbo if that wasn't clear, I would just love the turbo version [: So again, post whatever you have I really appreciate your help.
