  1. I know that CompCams offers several cams for for the Datsun/Nissan L6. Who else offers them? Does anyone have any experience with an aftermarket cam? Will they work well with EFI and a stock ECU?
  2. I keep hearing & reading about the difficulty in removing spindle pins. Must be a damp climate (rust) thing. Removed mine with a few whacks with a 3 lb. hammer (cushioned by wood) and followed up with a long punch. I reinstalled them coated with lithium grease just for good measure. Are you guys removing the lock bolt or do these things really get that corroded?
  3. My 1975 280Z Coupe has an 18mm stock front swaybar. I believe it will be the same for a 1976. I also believe that 1977-78 had a 20mm bar.
  4. It's great to live in the desert and own a car that's spent it's 35 years here. I just removed my spindle pins - no problem! They're clean (even have the cadmium plating intact) and ready to be reinstalled. Please don't hate me.
  5. Reaction Research has these scoop type available in both fiberglass and carbon fiber: http://www.reactionresearch.com/hoodvents.html
  6. I get a real kick out of reading the SU vs. Holly carb stuff here. Since I am older than most of you I remember having SUs on my 1960 MGA when I was in college about 45 years ago! They were regarded as OK but a pain in the rear even then. They are simple and efficient technology but they are ANCIENT technology. They were a pain to syncronize and tune 50 YEARS ago, doesn't that say something all by itself? The Holly is a more modern design and with four barrels is more efficient and simple for moving air and fuel. For everyday use I'd pick the Holly over multiple SUs any day. But for 21st century drivability go with EFI.
  7. This link has a detailed article on lowering Zs. Hope it's helpful: http://www.reactionresearch.com./faqs2.htm#lowering
