While we are on the topic of S30's in videogames, i've played Auto Modelista as well as Tokyo Extreme acer, the sequel, Zero, and all the japanese versions (Shutoku Hiway Battle). I highly recomend the first 2 games for Sega Dreamcast. The PS2 version (Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero) kinda sucked, the controls were all wierd....
A few days ago i came across Wangan Midnight at the arcade, and i have to say it is by far the coolest racing game i've ever played in my life... cruising the Tokyo wangan route in an R34 GTR at over 300kph, racing the famous S30 twin turbo... it just dosn't get better...

this was from the latest D1 competition, the red HKS S15 driven by Nobeteru Taniguchi came in first place, although most people think he didn't deserve to win because he was using semi-slick tires which were not allowed in the competition. all these guys are the best drifters in the world, most of them race in JGTC (Japan Grand Touring Car Championship). it's really insane how much skill these guys have...

do it! somebody really needs to do this swap to prove that an SR powered S30 will be a beast! if i could find a reasonably priced SR around here i would do it. imagine how light the car would be....

Stay very far away from the HKS SSBOV unless you like the sound of rice.
The HKS Super Sequential is one of the best blow off valves out there. i would stay away from Apex and Greddy, i've heard from numerous people that they are prone to leaking. I'd go with the HKS if i were you, solid and proven product... and it sounds bad ass too. Shane, have you ever even heard a ssbov? I don't know how you could possibly decribe it as rice.

fwd is better in snow and rain, it is chaper for the car manufactures to produce, but it DOES NOT have the advantage in high power cars, torque steer is a bitch

so, in order to get a 280z to sit like a 240z all you would have to do is change the upper mount? how hard would this be?
