My first and foremost concern after I buy this car is making a true mid-engine. Between the SR, VQ, LS3 and there is one other I am forgetting that is a cheap swap. What would allow me to get the closest to a 50-50 balance?
I have heard of RB25 + AWD, and RB26 + AWD, but would an AWD with any of the engined mentioned above be possible?
Move the battery to the right rear. DONE!

Does anyone have any experience with the Isis Power Systems?
Kinda pricey, but very cool and clean!

I had it done when a golf ball fell from the sky and left its dimpled impression in the hood of my 944 many years ago. Amazing results. I wish the local tech was still in business.

I've seen that car on Craigslist. I'm glad you snagged it!
-
Maybe you shouldn't have sold it.
You sure know how to kick a guy when he's down!
IBPDZ, I just sent Tom with Pacheoco an e-mail.
Thanks,

Resist making your car look like sh!t. Add a scoop or a hood bulge to fix it.

From the title, I thought he had a steering problem.

I think I just got hard
TMI dude!

Ya know, I need the same thing, everything infront of the rad core support. Anyone, anyone? Mine were folded in a front end collision.
-
YES I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER CUT MINE OFF AGAIN.
Its a lot of trouble and it maybe look pretty cool, but I think the rails add a classy look and I would love to have the functionality back!
What ^ he said!

I`ll be in the search section here on hybridz for a while looking for a walk through on replacing the core support. I have a friend here in P.R. with that same color goes by HOT CHOCOLATE. Here`s a few pics of his Z for inspiration
He`s running Triple45mm.
Nice, I'll be getting rid of the baby-turd brown and going with a nice BMW Artic white.

Sure it`ll buff out, it`s not that easy. I was looking at your resto pics . what did you do about yours, did you put a new radiator support ?
I have not done very much work on it since taking those photos. It won't need a core support, just a little buffing out.

Its a sad day for me.
Break failure at 50 on a turn, ran over a sign post, and through the metal gates of a house. Stop just about a foot before entering the house for dinner. No bodily harm on me nor my son and neither the homeowners.Could have been a whole lot worse. Will post pics tomorrow.
Wreaked cuz ur breaks dont werk? Doun shif!
From the perspective of your driver's seat, how did you know the homeowner was having dinner?

Personally, I don't think you should give any child such a nice car! I don't care how much you love them. I've never been given a car by anyone. I turned out OK. How about a bicycle when they get old enough to go out on their own and that's it!

quitcher bitchin, when I was going to school we had to walk 2 miles one way through 2' of snow while walking uphill both ways.
.... while being chased by a doberman!

I noticed in your photos that your front bumper sits in the '73 240Z position, minus the fillers. Is this the case?
-
I just looked at your smugmug album. Your 240 is really shaping up! I am SO JEALOUS!

The thing that pisses me off the most is that the forklift that courtesy tow yard used to move my car around totally crushed the lower tank of my radiator. Now I have to replace that too!
Most tow yard/JY employees are TOOLS. They should have more respect for a classic than to use a forklift.
Glad you found your car! Sorry about the damage. Good luck!

If you offer 240ZHoke enough money, he might sell you the exact car you want.
