Man that sucks. Many years ago, I did a car show for the local high-end mall. Some woman let her kid loose and the little brat climbed on the hood of a Porsche Speedster replica that we had just painted before I could catch him. She then had the gall to say that it was my fault for not having the car roped off better. The car had a stainless steel rail around it! Long story short, her husband had better sense and took care of my cost for me to repaint the hood. Sometimes it is the parents fault for not raising respecting children. Sometimes it is just stupid kids! Glad I don't have any.

Ok, well I have been making contacts with people, deciding what I want to do, blah blah blah.
I have been in contact with Rebello, and I have decided to take my L24 and get it stroked to a 2.7/2.8L. Just need to find out if they will do the diesel crank or not, but I am sure that they will.
Anyways, I am currently located in the southeast and just want to know if there are any good shops here that I could send my engine to. If I have to send it to Rebello, I will do it, just that if I can find a shop here that is extremely good and what they do, I had rather do that since I could drive the engine there, and pick it up when they are done instead of getting it shipped.
So, does anyone know of any good shops that I should know about that could get this job done for me? I am located in Chattanooga, and would have thought that there would be tons of stuff down in Atlanta, but I am having a really hard time trying to find the information that I already have.
Eddie Radatz — Z-Car pro in North Atlanta area. Search and you will find him. I don't have time to do your searching for you. Google it. http://zhome.com/Racing/RACE/ERM/ERM.htm

Not to beat a dead horse, but I thought your ebayer was Jim Edwards for a minute.
-
Im not sure you could even give those away, good luck finding a buyer.
They would be good for rolling the car around in the paint booth. Getting overspray on them would not be a big woop. Is that a basket over steel wheel? I ain't seen one of those in a long time!

Stop right there, don't change a thing. Wait, add twin turbos... then price it right and I'll take 2.

My advice is to keep the mature upper hand and make sure he gets his parts back. Don’t damage the parts, no retaliation, just ship them back with delivery confirmation. Either he will “get it†and personally take ownership of his poor choices or he will be shunned by enough of the Z community to take his shady practices elsewhere.
That’s my $.02
JIM EDWARDS SHOULD BE SHUNNED BY 510, Z and anyone else burned by this goober over the years that he has been doing this. He should not take his shady practices anywhere, he should just stop! If he did this with Harley WTB forums you can imagine the outcome if anyone tracked him down. Now, if you ride a Harley, you ain't a bad guy. I'm just saying most Harley owners don't play games.
If Jim contacts me and agrees to pay shipping, I will return it. He had been notified way in advance of March 31... Multiple times! He had time to realize that the deal was disputed. I have sent him emails requesting contact.
If he gets his parts back, I'll need to hunt the parts again. ZBarn will get my business!

Update:
Jim sent my parts on March 31, they arrive April 2.
I filed a dispute with paypal March 12 after several attempts to discuss this with Jim. He did not reply at all. Paypal and I send him an e-mail notifying him of the dispute. Any sane person would have said "OK, I f*c*ed up." After 30 days Paypal awarded me a win on March 26 my credit card credits me and charge backs his account. I'm cool, Then this fool sends the parts on March 31!
I seriously don't understand the guy.
Now, show of hands please. Do I keep the parts and let him take a loss or do I return the parts at a cost of $13.00 to me? BTW, he said shipping was $20.00 I guess he made $7.00 right there.
Confused,

Who's S.L. Johnson?
His "girlfriend" Shanessa. See her photo to the right of my banner.
Do this:
From Captain D. Barker:
We would need more information from the complainants. Who they are. Where they live. Have they filed a report? If we can get enough information, we will be glad to look into it.
Captain Barker
Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office
Criminal Investigation’s Division

The saga continues...
From S.L. Johnson this time:
"wanted to let you know that I HAVE sent the stub axles to you. You will have them on Wed."
Ya... sure! Where have I heard that before!

Oh sorry, I hope it didn't come out as rude. I was just joking around.
C.R.S. = Can't Remember S***? That's a new one on me.
Not rude, don't worry about it!

I would but, I don't want a myspace account.
Do it, DOOOOOOO IT! You know you want to!

If you've been a victim of this scumbag, why not let us know? PM ME and tell me about it. I love to go to NC to spend the weekend mountain biking or road riding my bicycle. A side trip to visit our friend Jim... anyone interested. Jim told me he goes mountain biking, it even says so on his myspace page. I know of a mean cliff that if timed properly would look like an accident... guys that fat don't have very good cycling skills... who knows... I know where he lives. Google maps even showed me his run-down shack.
Jim, how about it bud? A little mountain bike trip to Tsali? Come on out! Let's see how fat, er... fast you are.

Paypal awarded me a win and credit card issued a credit on my account today! Score one for the good guys. But Jim, if you see this, It ain't over until EVERYONE you've stolen from gets repaid. Watch your back!

FYI...if you post the img instead of the url ink from photobucket you will have the pictures in your post....not just a link. This is a pain.
Amen Brotha!
Also, turn camera level. My neck hurts.

Guy's
Generating awareness is one thing. Taking swings at a pinata is another. Lets keep this dispassionate.
Agreed, Ron. I won't say anything about his mother either. She probably has enough problems. This guy will get what's coming to him in due time.
This is a great community!... most of the time.

It took me like...8 MONTHS to get back my money from some idiot, but it was a paypal transaction and not through ebay.
the guy said that he put the wrong zip, then he said he sent it, I asked for a tracking number but he said he "lost" the number. Then I called my dads place since I moved and he said no package had EVER been shipped to his house.
go figure hah.
Who beat you out of your $? Jim Edwards or this jacket-off?
If you got burned by Edwards, people will be happy to help as he has burned a lot of Zcar.com guys. Even dimequarterly has a page devoted to this ***-****!
If I were J.E. I would stay inside with my doors locked!
Burnsville is a nice place to ride a road bike though!

Just how dumb do you have to be to post a MySpace page while everyone you've stolen from is looking for you?
http://www.myspace.com/westiemanjim
Oh, nevermind. That answered my question.
That dude is so fat he ain't got a neck!

I would look in the JY for a salvage core support first, then if that failed, try Arizona Z, then fab as a last resort. Scrap (fence post) means the entire car will be made of (s)crap.

I found this Z while surfing zparts.com and it has raydots!! Check out the links!

I think those are mounted too low. Better mounted like the Mustang pictured earlier. Same area as stockers.

i orderd a 31x12x4 FMIC core is 24x12x4... 3" in/out boy its large...
I orderd a DIY kit off ebay, quality is decent. 3" bead rolled boost pipes, except for the u-bends, silicone couplers, t-bolt clamps.
also got my edelbrock victor series muffler..4" inlet/outlet. has two 3" (approx) split flow tubes in it. ceramic packing etc
I plan on running 4" fom the downpipe all the way to the rear of the car. we'll see..

Also do I need to remove the mustache bar and if I do, will the rear end drop. Any advice?
Look at it this way. The mustache bar is located just inches from the FUEL TANK! If you start a fire back there, well ya better have paid your medical insurance and have a paramedic standing close by.
It ain't no big thing to drop it and do it right. Purchase a Haynes manual, you are gonna need one anyway.
