  1. Thanks! I'm planning on bolting or the riveting the flares on.
  2. So my Mckinney Motorsports coilover kit showed up and I am VERY pleased with the quality. Tubes welded to front spindles. Rear camber plates tacked in Coilovers installed and rotas on for the first time. I'm way happy with the results so far. The rear fenders are resting on the top of the tires and I can't even get the front fenders on. All in all I am very happy with the McKinney coilover kit. Top quality parts at a good price and great customer service. Next up, custom aluminum fender flares
  3. Is anyone else waiting on the latest batch of McKinney coilovers? Tentative ship date?
  4. Well, I decided on going with the Mckinney Motorsports coilover kit. I just couldn't pass it up for the price.
  5. Just checked them out. Seems CRAZY expensive even though it looks like they come complete and ready to bolt in. I think it was close to 3,500 without shocks!
  6. Thanks for the clarification. So does anyone know where the price difference comes from? It seems like they are basically the exact same kit.....
  7. How much are you spending if you don't mind me asking?
  8. I was looking at that kit too. Did you get the camber plates too? What are you going to do for shocks?
  9. So it's time to get my coilovers and I think I have it narrowed down between McKinney Motorsports and Arizona Z Car. I am mainly curious as to why the AZC coilover kit is 1600+ while the McKinney kit is closer to 1200? Is there really that much of a difference between the 2? The kits look virtually the same with adjustable shocks, camber plates and options on the spring rates. Installation also looks to be the same. What do you guys think? Are there any other kits out there that I am missing?
  10. Thanks for the response. Car looks soooo sick! Where did you get your flares from?
  11. So this car has 9.5 wide on all 4? looks like the front tires are smaller than the rear, right?
  12. Just ordered my gun metal RBR's from RacingLab (17 x 9.5 all around). I plan on getting 275/40/17's as well. Anyone else besides thehelix112 & sunny z running this setup? What tires do you guys recommend for a street car?
  13. Thanks everyone. Just ordered the wheels from racing lab and they will be here Wednesday! What tires do you recommend? I am looking at the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 (274/40/17). They look like an aggressive track tire at a decent price.....Tire Link
  14. Im going with the gun metal centers and 275/40/17. Gonna do what it takes and MAKE them fit!
  15. Thanks for the link! They said it would be an extra $40 to get all 4 - 9.5" wide and 140 for shipping. Total should be around $1,000. Looks like a decent deal. Anyone else?
  16. I am ordering a set of coilovers with camber plates too so I will be covered there. I am even thinking about making my own flares too so now all I really need to sort out is where to get the wheels. I have looked everywhere I can think of and haven't been able to find the 17x9.5 rb-r wheels anywhere.... Edit: Found the wheels and ordered them. Time to start cutting
  17. I am looking to purchase a set of Rota RB-R 17" x 19.5" wheels. Other than the group buy where can I purchase these wheels?
  18. I still haven't found anything specifically about the extra wide flares from z force productions. Anyone got any links for me?
  19. I am ready to purchase my wheels, tires and flares and am looking for some help. After some tedious searching I plan on running the Z-Force BAMF flares with ROTA RBR 17x9.5 all around. Does anyone have this or a similar setup? From what I have read you can run a 275 tire with some modification to the front end. Does anyone have pictures of their car with these wider flares? I have seen a lot of cars with these wheels but I wasn't sure if they had the wider flares or not. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!
  20. Thanks for the quick responses everyone! Huh? Yeah I noticed that too.... Thanks for the details. The car will be a street car for the time being but I plan on track time in the future. Where would you recommend I purchase a hood or any parts for that matter? I'm still really new to the S30's and I want to avoid any BS if possible.
  21. Hey everyone, I finally got my first S30! The car in question is a 1974 260Z with 69,000 original miles. The body seems solid with minimal rust but the bodywork done previously is haggard. I plan on purchaseing a bunch of parts from Z Force Productions and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this company? I want to buy their wide body fenders, fiberglass hood, lower rear control arms and some other stuff. Is this the right place to buy from? Any suggestions otherwise?
