  1. John, I used the msd billet dist and had no issues with the clearance. I used the JTR kit and have about an inch to the firewall. I have had no issues with this combo.
  2. WAAAAY too much. I stopped counting long ago. I would guess between 40 and 50K. I never planned on that much. It is an addiction. I'm seeking help...lol
  3. Well, That's exactly what I was thinking, but you know I am much too nice to say it. at least where you would hear about it... lol Bain
  4. Boy, I will say this.....That JT fellow sure does know his racing stuff. I will attest that what he tells you is very reliable. I think he has a very good knowledge of racing engines and race stuff in general. If I could afford to pay him, I would have him build all my racing engines....
  5. Did I say 5160? I meant 4150 hp. I am really hoping to see your car at the track soon. Do you have any pics of the whole car that you can post? Bain
  6. OK guys, I have been through this part and will say that a stock holly 5160 hp carb will not let you down on the road course. The power valve issue just keeps you from needing larger jets. I have a 383 stroker in my road course car with stock floats and just needed to tune for af ratio. I do have a 750 cfm holley with road race floats and cannot tell any difference with standard floats. I did have to rejet the carb 10 sizes to get the correct a/f ratio Good luck, Bain
  7. I have two new sets with two track days on them. It is too early to tell if they are going to be a problem. I will post any experience I have with them next season fyi
  8. The wing is the apr gtII carbon fiber. Costs around 500
  9. I am sorry to hear about all those problems. I would by upset too if I were in your shoes. I must have gotten lucky. I scotch brite cleaned them and sprayed them. It did take a long time to get them though.
  10. I am unaware of rota wheel problems. Could you tell me more about the problems?
  11. They are the wide zg flares that s30force offers. Took a while to get them but the quality is excellent!
  12. Hey John, It's been a long time. I hope you are doing well. We would love to see some pics of your progress. Bain
  13. Yes the r200 can handle the power unless you are drag racing. The wheels are the rotas from the group buy. I am happy with the deal that was offered.
  14. Yes, That was before all of the little details were finished. I was unaware that it was on you tube
  15. Thanks for all of the great comments. This car started out to be a beater that I could track and not worry about about scratches, dirt or how it looked... Something went wrong, very very wrong with that idea.... I have tried several times to post pics but the server gives me an error message every time. The front info that Tom posted is right on. Roddy did a nice job. There were a lot of things for him to try to bring together to make the nose work. The ride height is 4 1/2 front and 5 rear. The tires on the rear are 315/35/17 bfg's There is aluminum reinforcement inside the fiberglass rear hatch to support the downforce that the wing creates. It sits on the rear of the car frame where the original latch would have been located.
  16. Very nice Mark! You should have no braking issues when they are finished. I was hoping to see you at cmp tomorrow. Bain
  17. I understand, I would like to see molre pics of your z. Email me at bain@seaboardindustrial.com and we can trade build pics if you like. Will you be attending the asphalt ventures vir event around Thanksgiving?
  18. Thanks, I am trying to go next Wednesday the 28th. If the weather is good, and nothing pressing at work I plan to be there all day. I am still in the shakedown process. I have not even dynoed or tuned it. I am sure there is more power in her. Can you make it?
  19. I did not realize my fanclub was going to be there...hahaha Don't believe Tom and John, They are just trying to make me feel good about my junkpile. Thanks guys
  20. Nice job Mark! It looks awesome and superfast to boot. The orange looks great on the z. Hope to see it at the track soon... Bain
