All I'm saying is you can't beat the way an old car drives or how you can really feel the power. On top of that you'd be driving one of the most loved cars of a past time with a motor swap in it that is only limited to what you put into it. Just sayin'

I need help trying to figure out if my z can handle a stage three cam swap any input would be great. It's a mostly stock 77 280z with n47 head the cam that I'm putting in has 0.460/0.460 Lift in/exh and 270/280 duration in/exh

Option 3 crack open your AFM and let it run a little fatter(rich) to compromise if you dont feel safe doing it by sound and feel get a wideband and then do it thats what I did and I get my regrind in a few days same as yours so tuning will be fun.

Thank you for the input i've been trying to figure this out for a few days now and was going back and forth between the msd 6al and a Bee R Rev Limiter but couldn't decide.

So I couldn't just get like a 6AL with a 2 step module and wire it in? I'm running a zx dizzy in my 77' 280z if that matters at all.

Thats actually the whole reason I'm trying to find one so that I can pull good 60ft times at the drags I'm going to see how the old "Fair" will do just waiting to get my regrind cam back now.

I'm still pretty new to this website but it has helped me a lot but I'll get to the point. I'm curious if there is anyway to put a 2 step launch control on a 77 280z I have zx distributor swap if that makes any difference any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

Today I installed an AEM Wideband to see how well my car was running turns out it was so lean that it didnt even register on the meter bad . so a few hours later and a zx distributor swap and she really purrs like a kitten now.

I would probably say around 100$ or so really depends on the condition and new tanks if you can find are an arm and a leg
