  1. John - Those are my pictures taken in my patio you have posted there. That Header is made by Greddy Trust and it does actually fit a S30 car, it will NOT fit an S130 car. I still have that turbo header in my garage and bought it quite some time ago.

I am unsure what I will be doing with it, at one point I was going to chop it up and make it fit my 280ZX, but then I had the SFP unit, so I am currently using that, seems to be OK so far.

    Yasin

Dont modify it! Send it to SSAC!!

  2. thanks to johnc for pointing this out, but if you're running an a/c, heater and/or defroster you'll definitely want vents in the cowl as the air that enters the cowl is a crucial and major part of any air that enters into the cabin for those sources.

Tomorrow I'll be going over details with my shop on getting a mold made to allow vents to stay in the panel with production and at a more affordable price.

So you will get no air if the vents are covered?

  3. The center console will probably be the first vacuum form item to get produced.. I'll post pics later of my mockup. The hardest part of it is since it's angles inward towards the bottom then it's tough to make a straight face of it. The vacuum draw is no problem, I'm just wondering if it will have to sink in so much that it will be too deep inward.

I'll post pics of that prototype towards the end of the day, but as is would leave the stereo opening in tact, and would require ommission of A/C & heat system. I don't have A/C or heat in my Z so this is why I made it this way.

Make the console with a/c and heat.. and im interested

  4. I was just going to post about this issue a few months ago. I think hybridz should have a Stereo electrical forum section. This would be to discuss what head units work with z's, HIGH OUTPUT alternators that work with z's, big 3 upgrades, best ported z box build?, Custom speaker mounts, amplifier locations, speaker mounting locations/ ideas, capaciter mounting locations, lightest subwoofers, newest technology,... etc. You guy's probably get the point. I would contribute some of the ideas/plans I have. I participate in other audio enthusiest forums and I know a little on subs/head units/big 3 upgrades and I think I could provide some help for some people who are stuck on installing an aftermarket stereo. And maybe I might need some help or have questions on a ported sub box build or design? I think it would be a very good addition to the forum.

  5. 70-74

Have a "fuller" front grill and lower mounted turn signals

    74.5-78

Have a grill with turn signal cut outs and the turn signals are mounted in the grill

I would say the gnose have a spot for lower mount turn signals. A conversion can be done, just have to remove the old turn signals and find some lower mount turn signals at a junk yard.

Oh yeah, As far as body size goes, 70-78 body kits are usually interchangeable.
