  1. Selling my 82 sedan, asking $4k. l28et swapped, has been my daily for the last 9 months.
  2. Alright guys, I hate to do it, but the 810 is for sale. Asking $4,000 obo. If anyone is interested please PM me or reply to this post. I will also be posting it in the classifieds, as well as on CL. Thanks
  3. Im running 2-1/4" 1 tuff z, are you wanting a picture of the rear diff? The only reason I quoted that range is because the PO told me that there was head work and newer internals. I didn't think to ask too much on the details but that was the range that I was told.
  4. Yea, a new intercooler setup is on my to-do list. I don't have the same space available for the intercooler as a stock s130, any ideas on possible placement/routing? I'm starting to think behind my air dam with some air flow improvements might be an option. Thoughts?
  5. I'm only running 4~5lbs on the factory turbo and I'd say I'm in the 280-300 range. I don't want to push it too hard, tranny has one foot in the grave. The rear spoiler is off of a 80's prelude also, looks better on a car worth importing.
  6. I hear these are rare. Ive only seen pictures of stock 810's that have been driven into the ground.
  7. Alright guys, some of you have been interested in seeing more of my 810. I started this thread to get opinions and ideas on where to go from here. I'd like to build this into a DD/AutoX car.
  8. Im going to open a new thread with pictures. Dont want this thread to veer too far off topic.

  14. I have an 82 810 "Maxima" with a l28et swap. Gas gauge worked fine the other day. Now when starting cold, gauge is pegged empty. After the car warms up the gauge randomly comes to life. If I turn the car off then back on after it is warm gauge works fine. Any advice greatly appreciated. Kinda weird right? Of course being a Datsun nothing is truly "weird" just "Datsunique".
  15. Keep in mind this is an 82 810 "Maxima" lights work, lower-center section of original bumper, behind airdam, has been cut out.
  16. Sorry for the delay guys. Recent move has caused the camera to come up missing. Will post asap!
  17. *Update: Went thru DEQ successfully after turning my afm wheel down 5!! teeth. 4 wasnt quite enough. Running a little rich is an understatement. Now I have a new problem... I havent looked thru the other forums yet, figured Id throw it out here. My fuel gauge doesnt work when the car starts. After about 20min of run time it finally kicks on. If I turn the car off and back on after it has warmed up it works fine. Just on cold starts it doesnt work right away. Vacuum issue?
  18. Thanks. That really did help. Ill have to let you know how it goes. The FSM didnt go into much detail how to adjust the AFM.
  19. I was just looking for my AFM screw and cant seem to find one... the black plastic cover has been RTV'd shut. Possibly located under that cap? Since it is a motor swapped car, the afm is not in a stock location... its mounted "black plastic cap" down on the drivers side inner fender.
  20. When I went thru the first time (w/o cat) the guy was looking under the car with their mirror for a good 5 minutes. He then continued running the test, and after looking at the paperwork they gave me saying i failed; the "catalytic converter present" box was checked by him. Maybe he was being nice? lol. If only I would have passed, wouldnt have had to go thru the hassle of putting a cat on.
  21. Thanks for the heads up. Im trying to find some Portland area Datsun clubs for meets/cruizes. Any suggestions?
  22. It was definitely a win/win for me. I was looking at 280zxt's before I found that one, but it was easier to sell the 4-door to the wife(for the kid) lol. I know there has been a lot of time and money thrown into this car during the swap, but unfortunately the guy who did all the work passed away and all that info was lost. The guy I bought it from let his g/f drive it for 2+ years and it shows. Other than the fact that it hasn't been tagged since 06 and I'm fighting the DEQ process it is a great quick little car.
