Got a question,
I have (85?) toyota 4x4 front calipers and using the stock rotor (72 240). Will the z31 rotors (5lug) work with my calipers or do I need a different ones?
Thanks

Hello Hybriders,
I need some help, with all the different types of combos for the rear, I do not know which way to go.
This is what I have: Front Toy 4x4 front brakes with stock rotors. Rear drum.
I have coil overs but not on yet.
I would like to go 8x 17" rims
Who could give the best price for converting the rear to disc?
Would 5 lug be the best way to go?
Does someone have a total list of parts needed to do the conversion.
Please advise, got 1 1/2 months to get this beast back on the road for Mermorial Day Cruise/show in Everett Wa.
Lots to due with little time, just sold one of my toys so I can do the brakes/5 lug?
Thanks all

Thanks,
" Adam, if you dont mid me asking, how did you do the side pipes, like what were some steps, and costs..."
HueJass,
The side pipes are from JEGS and just bought their sidepipe kit. It is a very tight fit next to the underbody.
If I broke a motor mount I would probably brake a header.
I welded a couple of brackets to the side pipes and bolted throught the floor of the car. Been the side pipes for two years and no problems. Cost about $300

, Got home last night and no more then 5 min the UPS showed up with my coil-overs. Thanks Ross C.
Now it is time to take the car apart again.
How many have the coil-overs from Ross C. of Modern-motorsport?
Is there anything I need to watch for when installing?
How long did it take to convert?
Just had to share.
Enjoy, be happy, live long
Thanks

I'm running Dyno Max 54" sidepipes with 26" tires and no grinding.
I had a problem at first with hitting speed bumps then I moved them
closer to the body and taller tires.
But when I do the Coil-overs (thanks Ross) soon I will need to think it all
over. I too was thinking of putting them in the rocker panels, since I have 2x3 angle
running the door jam for support.

Right now it has a Thermoquad and looking to up grade.
Thanks

I have the 4x4 toy on my 72. they work great.
The only other thing is that you will need to trim the dust sheild and bend the line a bit.
other wise straight bolt up.

I'm using block huggers from hooker on my zz4.
The ports might not line up perfect but I do not leak and
I'm not really concern about loosing hp.

Can I jump in?
I'm running a ZZ4 from Scoggy Dickens and love the way it has performed.
As of last night I have 1010 mile on the motor with no probelms and lots of
power.
My first engine in my Z was a stock 350 out of my 71 truck (dead now), second engine I
built 300hp put in truck and thrird and final the ZZ4.
ZZ4 motor is plenty of power for a 2500lb car.

Hello, Mopar fans
Could someone tell me the difference between the 440-1 and 440-3 motor?
This motor is in a 1978 motorhome.
No, I'm not putting it in a Z-car.
Any info on this motor would be great.
Thanks

Do you have the JTR Book or something close?
You can do it cheap or spend a lot of time and money.
