  1. I am currently hunting one down and having no luck. 90-96 Q45. I need the TPS to start my NEO swap in my 260Z. Please help out, email me at TmooreZ32@gmail.com for faster response
  2. hwvigo thanks for the video! Miles, I have never done drum brakes on any car, I dont really see how that measures my mechanic skills. My Z32 is still running after 9 years and has had plenty of work done to it by me.(engine swap, 5 speed conversion, etc) Not trying to be rude, I appreciate your advice but not the statement of your thoughts on my "experience" I have never even had a car with drums, so yes Im being cautious. On a side note, my drums were seized and baked together, there was no free spin on them, and after several hours with a torch, hammer and pry-bar i finally got the covers off just to find they were in terrible shape. Now with the covers off and shoes off, everything free spins. So I felt the need to just go with a disc swap since I am familiar with discs which will make servicing a little easier for me.
  3. I have only found like 3 write ups and they didnt go into that deep of detail
  4. If I cut the bottom holes off I could mount it and not take off the axle?
  5. Ok in the attached picture, this is the bracket I got in a deal with a Forum Member, and every other bracket I see is not a closed circle. 1) I see no way to get the axle into the hole.. 2) Can I just cut the bottom two holes off to make it an open "U" shape to just slip right on the axle? I have looked at multiple guides on how to do the swap, but my question is where do I actually bolt this bracket too? Anyone have some picture references I dont know about?
  6. I have been trying for like 20 minutes to get the window to work correctly for me to PM you, I am very interested in the price for an oil pan for my 74 260z to get an oil pan for her new RB25 heart? Email me at TmooreZ32@gmail.com for fastest response

  7. Also, why is it that everywhere I look with a +20 offset does it list fitment for a 240z - 280z, and its not looking good trying to find wide negative offset rims. :/
  8. Man, I had the offset stuff completely wrong in my head then, I had found some +20 offset rims and really liked them, so It DOES have to be a negative number for a wider rim. I do want to flare the car, and 17in rubber seems easier and more fair priced to get ahold of. Thanks for that insight, even though I feel like I will NEVER find wheels now. On a side note do you have an opinion on suspension set ups other than coilovers? Like a preferred strut/spring combo?
  9. honestly didnt know that XXR was a knock-off rota, ive never heard that. Its not that 900$ is too much, I just dont like to put that kind of dough in my rims. My Z32 has had stock wheels for over 8 years ive owned it. So, let me ask my searching stated that the rims needed - offset to fit, so Im assuming that its incorrect. Because a 0 would probably need a spacer (which makes my nerves rattle) so basically any + offset on a 16x9 rim should clear?
  10. Now is the offset that important, would a 0 offset rub the strut/spring style suspension type?
  11. Well, thanks for the advice on suspension guys. and the body is an S30 260Z. I dont really want to spend almost 900 on rims alone but also dont know how I feel about rotas, seen lots of pictures of them breaking. I found some 16x9 XXR 531 wheels and some 255/50/16 I may go with that combo. But on the other note for the suspension, what you guys thinking? Im not a fan of the ride that coilovers give
  12. I am currently seeking rims. I want to have at least a 255w tire in the rear, possible 275... I am swapping an RB25 into my datsun now and the rims and rubber are junk, rims are rusted and missing chunks, and all tires are dryrot and broken apart (wooden find car) we have finished up welding all the floors in, and need to be ready to move the car down the road and the more I research tires/rims combos I get more and more mixed answers... I plan to run KYB struts with Tokico Springs and flares. the searching I have found over the past few days was this - "You can fit 17x9 with -13 offset on front/ and 17x9.5 w/-19 offset on rear"- Is this true, or is this false?
  13. So would a 16x9 rim fit well enough to run like a 255 in the rear? maybe even a bit bigger for hook?
  14. Reviving an old post, but Ive been looking at all 9 pages of this sticky and its not exactly as filled with info as expected. I am looking to install and RB25det w/5spd in the S30. I have heard mixed opinons on whats going to happen. Now www.jdmtigerjapanese.com is where Im ordering my engine from and it comes with a "thin" 5 speed when I called them they refered to it as a sr20 typed size transmission. Mckinney kit seems to a seemless mount, but if this thin transmission fits does it possibly still use the same driveshaft?
  15. I am currently boosting my 1977 280z, N42 block, P90 head, and 76-78 5spd.... my question is what clutch should I use? I plan on running about 15-18 pounds max...i know the pistons give at 20..so what do you guys suggest for a clutch?
