so ive done my research and i know i have to guy my shocks to put my 5-way tokico's in. And i will also have to cut the spring off at the collar and shave the lump down to put on my coil sleeves. But my problem is with the removal of the shock itself i cannot for the life of me get the traverse link bolt out.Ive also been reading that there are easier ways to get the shock out with the torture of the haynes manuall directions. But i dont understand completely what they mean so could someone help me out here it would be greatly appreciated if someone could explaine it to someone as dumb as myself ()

Hey guy i have been doing research on Turboing a 77 280Z. I've read about people just leaving everything stock and just throwing a turbo on it and a J pipe and it runs fine. i wanna do that but i already have an intercooler setup so it will run a little better. to the question..they never talk about fuel setups and i was wondering how they do not lean out. if its all stock it should lean out if stock 7PSI is getting pushed through right? well if you guys can help me that would be Great looking to get my project running!!!!

Is it possible to use a 77 NA Wiring harness to run a turbo setup with MSII? the NA car is almost stock i want to put a turbo on it and i heard that MSII would be good to run my car safer and be better for future modifications? and i was also wondering how hard it is to use because i know very little about tuning? I just dont want my car down forever becuse im trying to get it up and running but could wait a month or 2 if megasquirt would help that much and also i was wondering if you could use MSII with the NA dizzy?? thanks

sorry about that Z-ya. Its just some people get under my skin and i normally voice my opinion so yea sorry man. Thanks for all your help and i know you guys answer a lot of the same questions but the questions are always gonna be asked over and over. And now that im gaining knowledge i will happily answer the same question for different people just because i know that it helps in some way thats what forums are for and i thank you for not talking down on me or being a jerk when so many others just show their embarrassing side to them

Ok the L28 and the L28et have different manifold setups. I was wondering what is the difference besides The webbing. I see all of these vacuum hoses and and regulators and i was wondering what all do or don't i need on the turbo manifold. I see people with bare manifolds and i want one for my turbo conversion like that but I do not know what all to take off.

could i use a 300ZX turbo oil pump?
-
Do i need the turbo oil pump or will my old one be sufficient?

So i have a 280Z and im going to put a p90 head on the stock 280Z block and switch out to dished pistons that should be the right compression and everything to run a turbo pretty safely I ask this Becuase i got a turbo block without pistons or crank in it its not damaged but needs honed didnt know if it would be worth it to use that block or my L28 block. this has most likely been beaten to a pulp but i like some personal reassurance I am also do a very budgeted build (in college) heres my list Piston Rings 255LPH fuel pump (still needed) 280ZX ECU (need to find a 5 speed manual ecu) (still needed) Wiring harness Main bearings Front mount 280Zx stock Turbo (gonna use the internal wastegate) stock 280ZX Turbo manifold is it needed?? since i have the normal L28 one 280ZX injectors 280ZX afm (need codes cant find em to make sure its the right one) im gonna use my friends old stock 3rd gen rx7 bov larger oil lines Larger Fuel lines sorry to put this on here and thanks to anyone that reply's.also if you can tell me if im missing anything.I hope to not be a bother but im just trying to kill as many birds with one stone. Thanks Fellow Hybrid Zers
