Problem solved!!! YAY!!!! For any curious, apparantly I must have adjusted the rheostat while installing my dash cover (i didnt even know there was a rheostat) but anyway, i'm at full illumination now. thanks for the suggestions.

Okay so i replaced all the fuses with brand new ones, checked that everything was plugged in and still nothing. Everything was working fine up until a few days ago. I have the upgraded headlight harness and parking light relay from MSA and everything was working fine with and without those. All the lights interior and exterior work other than the dash lights. Please any help is appreciated.

my dash lights have never given me a problem, the other day they just didn't turn on anymore. Gauges, exterior lights, dome light, emergency flashers, pretty much everything works other than the dash lights. just changed all the fuses to new ones and still no luck, any suggestions would be great. on a side note, the switch was recently rebuilt and has never giving me problems since then.

Anyone have a custom panel that i could see pictures of? i want ideas on what to put in place of the stock panel. Vildini I believe is around $2500 and you provide your own dash and console. It's not that bad, just wanted to see if anyone does it cheaper, might go with Vildini because they have the expertise with this installation

I used 3M and mine has been in almost a year, hasnt moved at all

anyone know where i can get this done less than Vildini? I want to get this done soon but don't have time to do it myself and can't see myself paying what Vilidini price is. please let me know if you have a shop anywhere in So Cal.

Anyone here make a modern radio/heater control panel for 240z's? i have the original but i removed the heater and ac, and my car is far from original. i'm looking to get a simple panel to put there that looks like it belongs there but not like the original. i know a lot of people here have made there own with gauges or switches, if you are not selling them, maybe i could get some pictures so i can get ideas for mine. i have done the searching and have seen a few (most for 280z's) so please do not tell me to search, i've been through every interior thread here. Thanks

i am currently using 280z panels around my 1/4 panel windows the only problem is that above the rear strut the panels are a little higher therefore reveal a little of the metal not too bad though and they are definitely thicker and more durable

any updates on the $300 job?

i have one from a 72, has a couple holes that were drilled, pretty good condition though. nothing broken. it was painted gray by the PO with vinyl paint, looks pretty cool gray, i actually painted the one in my car gray because of it lol. let me know if you are interested. PM me

got the car back, while driving i noticed the box rubs like crazy and makes annoying sounds. haven't taken pics yet but will send them if you're interested still. i think i'm going to have to modify it so that it is two pieces rather than one that crosses from 1/4 window to the other.

i have a custom sub box that goes from the back of my seats and goes over the rear struts and then straight down, between the two rear struts is where the sub goes, i do not have pics yet and my car is in the shop but hopefully i will be able to pick it up today. maybe once you see it you can fabricate a lighter maybe fiberglass piece. i might try to do it as well because right now its solid wood and weighs a ton. i will let you know once i get the car back and can send you pics.
