same thing i want to do with my car i had a 300zx turbo that was wrecked while parked in front of my house i should have kept it
this idea has been floating in my head for a while too
i contacted vildini motorsport
they have not got back to me with the cost to swap the motor
vg30et in s130
i just bought me a new set of wheels for my s130
they are xxr (sportmax) 513 15x8 0 offset
i have not mounted them yet
i am going to do it this weekend on my lunch break i am gonna ask my service manager if i can mount and balance my tires
i have some new kuhmos on my riken mesh
i am just gonna swap the tires and balance them and mount them on my car
not before checking if they rub
i post pics of them installed
i emailed technotoytuning.com
i asked them if they where considering a big brake kit for the 280zx/510
they said maybe but not soon
if more people show interest
maybe they will get too work on it soon
ok cool
i can still use the injectors, and the starter, and alternator, fuel pump, little things here and there
so i could use the n47 head and the trans
ok thanks
for 300 bucks running i might buy it
some guy i know is selling a 83 maxima with a efi l24
i know i could use allot of parts to put in my z cars
but the engine i am not shure if i would use that or just as a spare if i change the oil pan
i could use the trans too
but i am not sure i could use the differential and the cv shafts they are different i think they look like turbo zx shafts
does anyone know if i could use the rear end with the shafts in my 83 zx ?
or if the trans bolts right on?
is a maxima a good parts car?
i hope it can work with the s13 struts
something i have to try out when i get a parts car to see how it fits.
i will experiment and see if i can toss it in my daily driver.
i am getting another 83 130 for parts and for experimenting pretty soon
i cant find this video anywhere
best motoring vol 56 " love the z"
a vid dedicated entirely to the z all models all years
i want it cant find it here in the usa
the stock 280zx has so much of its rear behind the differential it really looks unbalanced and flexible "like a bamboo stick with a boulder in the middle". i also feel the car has alot of over steer it seems like it would be hard to get it at a big angle or keep a drift.
but then i don't know for sure ill have to find out the hard way and give it a shot
i saw the video it was impressive.
ill try to get some coil overs @ the rear and some camber plates and a sway bar and see how that works out for know
i went to your site looks like your 130 is coming out real good
good job man
these adapters/ spacers are custom made to fit any of your needs i might get me a set

Billet Wheel Adapters for Wheels
Now this is kinda trick! These are our new billet wheel adapters for your AE86, Datsun 510, or 240Z.
These will allow you to run all the modern wheels on your oldschool cars.
They are 32mm thick and can be made to adapt to just about any bolt patterns including...
4x114.3mm -> 4x100mm
4x114.3mm -> 5x114.3mm
...and many others! Just e-mail us with the bolt patterns you need. Made of 6061 billet aircraft aluminum they come with all the hardware to bolt the adapters onto your hubs. Then you just bolt the new modern wheels you chose right up to these adapters.
these are hd wheels
http://www.hd-inc.com/
they fit the z and are copy of the ssr starsharks
i think they are ok
i also like the ssr spr1 professor i think thats the name
i really love the axis og wheels to bad they are 4x100 i want them on my s130
they are kinda of a copy of the work o3 but not exact the works have a step lip
and these wont cost you your first born or arm
the pics are not on z cars, but you can get an idea of the massive 3 inch lip and proportions
well i want a build a car to enter drift days. My friends usually go and they talked me into it, so thats the direction i am heading
i want to try it on a 280zx since all of them have s13's and the ae86's
my friends call the s130 a steam boat
i also have a s30 but i think the 280zx should have its turn for the spot light
