I have the same LS1 heads, and have gone through 3 sets of headers and tons of headaches! I just purchased my 4th set of headers that are supposedly for this set of heads..I will let you know how and if they work.

I think this is a great idea..I have a 400 horse 383 that has never run very strong since I put it in my 73. The stock fuel line coming out of my tank is tiny. I think this might be the problem with fuel starvation..I may take the tank out and replace this line and all the stock fuel lines..certainly can't hurt.

Its perfect! a little more ice would be nice!

I have the same car with the same engine from blue print engines...just a quick question..what did you use for an exhaust? I have tried several options and keep frying my plug wires..what type of shorty header did you find for that? I have the LS1 aluminum heads. Should be the same on your motor.

I also have a 73 240Z with a 383 Stroker with the aluminum heads. I have the same problems. Either I burn out plug wires or I get too close to the firewall and burn out the harness. Did you figure this out yet?

No, I have a aftermarket carter electric. 700R4 transmission R200 differential 700cfm eldelbrock..

I just installed a new 383 stroker and do not have the power that I expected..I am starting to wonder if I am not getting enough fuel to the motor...I am using the stock fuel line and and electric fuel pump...any suggestions???
