from what i hear the motor mounts work,no mods but the oil pan must be cut and lowered on the hihg part in order to clear the rb26 big main caps. is this right stony???

I’m installing a RB26DETT in to my 73z. For now the RB will be stock but I am looking in to upgrading the turbo’s and injectors so I can run higher boost. I just want to be able to run 11.00 ¼ miles. And that brings me to my problem I need t run an R200 or R230 in the rear. So I have a few questions #1 what ratio should I run with the GTS-T 5 speed? #2 what type of half shaft /CV’s should I run. What do I need to make them work?? #3 is some one selling that AMC/zx CV set up? And what parts do I need to make it work? Any help would be great thanks.

i was looking at a aeromotive A1000 fuel pump good for up to 700hp and a reg and filter from them as well. do you think this would be a good pump? This is how i was going to do my fuel set up tell me what you think. *stock fuel tank with a 1/2" line down low for feed 1/2" line up high for return and keep the 1/8" tube on top for a vent. then weld up all the other holes *get some fuel foam jambed in the tank to stop sloch *from the lower 1/2" line-filter-pump---reg-rail----return to top 1/2"line would this set up work? can i use that hard line or must i use braided ss hose? thanks also who is going step up and sell that AMC/zx CV shaft set up? or anything in the rear end, r230 kit? strong no spacer cv's?????

The guy I’m buying from lives in Japan and sends jdm motors to his dad in Reno Nevada. He is the same guy who is trying to sell that RB26 on Ebay, just do a search for rb26 on Ebay. I think he has 2 or 3 RB26’s now for sale. The motor mounts is the only thing he is still looking for, I told him they are out of a late 80’s 300zx fairlady with an RB20 He normally sells the RB26’s to people with 240SX’s with all the mounts to make it work. This is the first time he is supplying all the parts to install on in a 240Z all for 6500$ I live in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. I’m putting coilover in my car this week and now need a new stub because the threaded part broke off with the nut. Do you guys think I should go with an SDS and if I do will some one help me make a map to start with? STONY/RB26Z????

sorry for the bad pic, No I was trying to draw a vertical and horizontal tube intercooler, with the horizontal you can fit more shorter tubes = better flow than less longer tubes the inlet would be on the drivers side and exit on the pass side

I have a 73 240z with an all stock drive train but a 5-speed. I’m just putting it back together because it was soda blasted then shaved (door handles and side markers) and painted (House of Kolor Kandy Organic Green). So far this is what I have done Momo wheel, shift knob/boot, and a laser cut aluminium gauge and climate control panel. And 2x3 box tube sub frame connectors. This is what I have to install (all the parts are on order) Ground Control coilovers, energy suspension bushings, scca’s rear brake kit, Motige MR7 wheels and BFG 225/45R17 g-force drag radials. And a 6” dia Dyno max ultra flow muffler for the 3” stainless exhaust that I’m going to make (I bought mandrel bends from burnesstainless.com) Next winter is the RB26/drive train project. So I might have some more questions for you. Do you think I could use the 6-speed if I some how took off the transfer case? Thanks for the help!

do you run a surge tank under the hood? what kind of fuel tank/cell do you have?

i just bought 17x7 Motegi MR7 wheels and 225/45 G-Force Drag Radials. but i need to order wheel adapters and install my G-C coiloves Energy bushing kit first. so it might be some time before i can say how i like the BFG's
