Those MKII Supras looked pretty nice. Id say 240sx or MKII for sure. I like the S13 Hatches a lot if they are in good shape.

If its running, id say take it to a local exhaust shop and get some sweet tips on there. But if its not, then... I dunno.

Alright, I will have to attempt this tomorrow when its sunny. So use the vice grips to get a snug grip on the cable (if there is much left) and pull it while my buddy is pushing on the hood, and it will pop open? And when successful, give my buddy the corona in my fridge? Just making sure were on the same page lol

 

Okay, dumb question, here it goes:

 

Where would be the best spot to put the jacks on the front of my 240. Never jacked her up before

I searched a couple times and couldn't find the answers I was looking for.

Today when I was driving, I went to pop the hood so I didn't have to fun my fan, and the cable just popped out. So when I got home, I realized the cord was broken and I pulled it all the way out to find the cable was shredded. My question is:

 

How do I get this fixed I cannot open my hood (to my knowledge) without this part. Can I jack it up and redo the cabling? Pictures of how to fix this or advice would be awesome, as I would like to fix it myself and not pay a shop.

I think a 240sx would be a neat car to get. They are newer like you were saying and the KA24DE isn't too powerful. Parts are easier to come by and you could make it a competition car if you wanted. Also S13/S14/S15 front ends are beginning to be easier to come by.

Seeing the progress pictures are pretty cool. Seems like your not messin around at all

Its got a L28 w/ 5 speed with a Crane cam and ignition, newer 4 barrel carb (AZ Z Car). The engine was overhauled and rebuilt with about 30,xxx miles on it. I have the Original 240z engine sitting in the garage that was also built by the original owner with like 40k miles on the overhaul.

I don't know much about the SF Bay Area, but my dad applied and relocated to Santa Barbara CA and a house like ours there is like $600k. I have lived in Nevada and been to Reno a few times, but, If I were you bro, I'd move. $24k a year in Cali is horrible. Reno would be a new and awesome experience, and if you end up not liking it, I'm sure your boss could relocate you back? Just my 2 cents

Yea... that truck is way to flashy, it looks different, but if he kept the stock front end and and different wheels, keeping it a "sleeper", then Id say A+.
