  1. Finally after 3 1/2 year i found another datsun project! All new floor pans no rust in frame. Going to go with 5.3 z06cam and 76mm turbo. Powerglide trans on stock rear set up. Worst spot on the car is the doors are kind of rough. Stay tuned for more pics and progress.
  2. 1.32 60ft 6.06 @111.95 Think ive reached the flow limit for the stock ls1 intake. still on the 230 dru shot. Added 65lb to the nose helped it from wheelstanding couldnt believe how good the car worked.

  4. yes that would be mine ill sell for 9000 with everything. 3000 as a roller. looking at another project. Everything is still in great shape and is driven on the street alot. actually have it at work today a 60 mile round trip on 93 octane.

  6. sunny z can u find the record? everyone on ls1 tech seems to think it is the record. im talking bone stock never had the heads off stock rings gaskets head bolts absoulutly everything. nitrous and cam only.. even stock injectors and intake stock truck ecm
  7. Got put out 1st round because of this whhelstand I'll post a pic later to show how high it actually was

  10. My home track brainerd optimist dragstrip will be having a outlaw 275 and street 275 class this sat. My car works great on radials. Swapped to a 4;10 gear tonight from the 3.50 gear. Hoping for my first 5 second pass sat. wish me luck.
  11. everyone says that about the injectors my buds 55 chevy has ran 620s with a 6.0 stock with cam for 2 years now with zero problems was featured in car craft issue u can look it up on google shannon medleys 55 chevy. his are only 24lb stock injectors. car slowed down with 26 degrees of timing on motor. went to 24 ran best time then went to 20 on 200 shot made 4 passes on nitrous so far. Also 2 other friends that have stock bottom end 5.3s and one has managed 557 in 1/8th and 561 the other. they both on alchol ported heads and 160lb injectors
  12. stock 5.3 have two friends putting a 1000 hp on these engines one in a 93 gt mustang ran 5.61 @130mph other just went a 557 @ 121. truckin magizine did an article and made 1400 hp on a 4.8 with twin 76mm turbos.Mine is stock 5.3 with cam glide 9" ford with powerglide. Throwing some new tires on this weekend should run in the 5s
  13. everyone thinks that my buddy has close to the same set up on dry shot with more nitrous with only 24lb injectors been running 6.20s for 2 years now with no problems even using stock fuel reg.
  14. stock 5.3 lunati 224 228 585 585 on 110lsa. 28lb injectors and a 230 shot of dry nitrous. First off this thing was a mutt on motor timing pulled out to 20 degrees plus the convertor is super tight nitrous convertor. Also its a powerglide 9"ford with a 350 gear. I was embarresed at first when i let go of the transbrake and seen it had a 2.08 60ft so i ran it on through went an embarrising 8.74 @ 83 mph. I was ready to vomit at this point lol Well turned the bottle on and started with a 175 shot and it clicked off a pretty good time 1.44 60ft 6.48 @105 Pilled it up to 230 shot and it went a 1.35 60ft 6.11 @ 112.98. really wish i could post pics on here i dont have a photobucket account i would post pics. It left so smooth jerked the tires just a couple of inches .
  15. anyone use the stock throttle assemble and make the ls throttle bodies work? like to leave the stock pedal assembly just wondering if there was anyway to adapt the cable for the throttle body
  16. i really wish i could figure out how to post pics on here. I have recently got the cam and valve springs swapped. engine is in car have to finish driveshaft fuel system and cooling and shell be ready. hoping this project runs good. Any ideas on weight 280z 5.3 truck motor no bumpers and all interior out except one seat. running 9" ford and ladder bars with powerglide trans.
  17. I didnt do the work on the 9" bit ill get some pics up. I bought the car rolling with cage ladderbar set up with 9" moser axles spool fuel pump weld wheels stole it for 1500 bucks. All body work is done and painted hot rod block not a spec of rust in the car
