    Just make sure that your VE table is 100% before you start on AE settings, that is after what ive heard is very crutial. Im about to dial my own in myself.   4. well the problem is that the maf voltage dont change when i rev the car. all wiring is ok, the manual have been read 100 times. the car runs fine on map.
  5. Hi, i have tried "again" to get my Nissan Q45 MAF to work with my ms3pro. Im on MAP now but ive heard that the car runs smoother with maf. The car is a Datsun 280z with "81 L28et Turbo engine from nissan. Or should i get a Nissan 350z maf? I have wired it as i "think" it should be according to ms manual. But it wont change the voltage or registrating any airflow, i have read somewhere that i should use a pull up resistor to get any readings. Is that correct? And f so what resistor dio i need to use? Thanx
  6. Do anyone have pictures or info on how i should set up the CAM sensor for sequential fuelling with Megasquirt ms3pro. I dont have any ditributer since i went 36-1 trigger wheel on the crank and wasted spark. Any pictures? Can i use RB25 CAS ? Drill a hole in the valve cover wit magnet glued on the camshaft and a hall sensor. I have heard aboute Kameari adfapter for L28et and Rb25 cas Any ideas
  7. Hi, i have a Megasquirt but i would like to add a Neutral switch sensor as safety switch for remote start, and a VSS sensor for the Megasquirt and aftermarket Speedo. ( do not want GPS speedo) Have anyone done this on this car? If YES how did you do it and what parts was used? Thanx
  8. I mounted my sensor in the cylinder head, its close to cylinder 5-6.
  9. So i have sold my ms2xtra, so im going for either ms3x or ms3pro, but is it really nescesary for me with my motor to buy ms3pro instead of ms3x. One of the reasons why i sold my ms2extra was because i wish full seqential injection and also maybe a better Flex fueling blending tables. Is the setup for ms3x the same as ms3pro or is there any big diffrences there? What aboute blending flex E85 tables the same for the two of those? I have heard someone says that the ms3pro makes the car and idling will be much better than ms3x, is this true? Why would i pay pretty much more $ for ms3pro? what is the big diffrence, remember this is a straight six, 2.8 ltr Turbo. And now the Dollar is pretty high, good for you guys in the US, bad for me in Norway. I will take my time this time and not rush before i buy me a new Megasquirt. All inputs are welcome. Thanx
  10. Hi again, here i come with some stupid questions "Again" with my L28et, turbo Datsun. I have made 2 tunes one with 2 squirts simult, and 2 squirts Alternating. On the 2 squirt simult. the WUE tuning is "Normal" after used Tune Analyze Live, but on 2 Squirt Alternating the walues goes to 100% all over the board after Tune analyze live. Why is that? Im posting both of the .MSQ the one called "NR2" is simult. 2 squirts, / and Stock.MSQ is the one i would like to use. I bought new injectors before i started, can someone give me the correct Dead time on 13.2V, see the picture added. its only 4 injectors there but this is a six cylinder, they just forgot to send me the last 2 injectors. (I got them now offcourse) The picture wouldnt upload it was to big even tied to .ZIP it down. So im writing the values from the scheme here: Volts: MS: 8 1.049 9 0.947 10 0.846 11 0.764 12 0.682 13 0.616 14 0.550 15 0.484 16 0.418 I tryed to switch the "stock.msq" from 2 squirts to 6 squirts alternate to check if the AFR went Lean or Rich, it went Lean directly and the motor died almost right away. It idles pretty good at 2 squirts alternate. Im also posting my .Msl from startup today, there you can se that i also get "Lost sync error" On the stock.msq i have tried to make two tables with Kp as switching point, Table 1 for cruising and Table 3 for Boost. Its not dynoed yet, but i wont to have all settings ready when i get to the tuner so they dont have to use alot of expensive time to make the settings correct. 1 Hour of tuning here in Norway is like 230-250$ and its not many over here that knows Megasquirt in and out. I do not want to be the one who pays for theyr education to learn MegaSquirt if you follw me. The GM IAC is working pretty good, but the total closing step is 313, have i set the Cranking stepper settings correct? Im not sure i have.. And the last question (for now) im using ms 3.3.2 version, and the ASE Taper time is in Cycles, does this mean one cycle is one turn on the engine? I have seen some other .MSQ have seconds instead. If you count 100 cycles on idle lets say 750RPM how long time in seconds is that? Yeah i know Stupid is stupid does. Thanx alot for all you guys that have plenty info on everything. Does anyone want to make a Remote Tuning Live, and with that i mean i let you have acces to my laptop with 4G thrue internet, and i call over to you with a seperate phone while im in the car while driving. Like when you have live support from example Microsoft. That would be a funny test. I can even pay for the time been used, if you have the skills to do it then, not a garage tuner like me. Hi, i have just got my car up starting 280z with l28et, 240sx TB, non intercooler, walbro gsl392, Denso 456cc see picture. i have some problems by adjusting the idle so it wont run rich as 9.8 -10.1 AFR it wont pass the emmision control here in Norway. I have tryed to run 2 and 3 squirts simultnouse, but the best result as far as i think is 6 squirts alternating, it felt more snappy on the throttle. Any tips an ideas? i only have the original idle valve on the top of intake, do i have to mount Ford PWM IAC valve. Or can i alter the deadtimes to get leaner idle? This is High imp 11.5 ohm, so i have turned off PW limiting also, right? The deadtime as you see in the picture is 0.616 at 13 volt. Any ideas guys and girls. Thanx
